Former Carter Adviser Brzezinski: US Global Supremacy ‘Is Over’

The United States can no longer reign supreme as the world’s sole superpower, says Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Jimmy Carter’s National Security adviser and a prolific foreign affairs scholar.

“The era of global supremacy by a major power . . . is over,” he tells Yahoo.

“The world is now much more diversified. There is now the new East in Asia. There is now a globally, politically awakened population.”

But that doesn’t mean the demise of the United States, as long as we’re willing to make some changes, Brzezinski, says.

“We have to accustomize ourselves to that world. If we want to compete in it, we have to revitalize ourselves.”

When it comes to China, the United States must accept its rising power, he says. “But we can certainly compete more effectively if we do a lot of thing internally to reawaken creativity, confidence, and even the moral significance of America in the world.”

Zezski and his idiot boss worked as their sticky fingers to the bone trying to make sure US global influence collapsed while they were in power and are no doubt beside themselves with joy over Barry doing what they were unable to do.

Substantively, Brezinski is correct. But it's galling to hear a Carterite making such statements when they accelerated the process.

PROFESSOR ZIG SAYS:
‘we can certainly compete more effectively if we do a lot of thing(s) internally to REAWAKEN creativity, confidence, and even the MORAL SIGNIFICANCE OF AMERICA in the world.”’

HUH?
‘REAWAKEN’ MORAL SIGNIFICANCE’? What the Hell, i thought we were ALREADY morally significant in the world....i say, we’re about as morally significant as it gets....THE UNITED STATES citizenry gives more money to poor nations than any other outfit extant.. it’s true that most folks all over the world are alive and living better due to US largesse which includes our nuclear umbrella....

I know you join me, fellow freepers, in deep deep sorrow that Ziggy hasn’t figured this out....
well, we may not be THAT sorry....I think he’s mad because we’re doin better than the roooskies.... and always will.

(I don’t think ZIG gets it ..... the USA beats the pants off EVERYBODY)

In closing, ever notice how lefties decry the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; speaking ill of our blessed land?...Jimmah does that to....it’s irritating..

I have more years of education than I care to think about. Having said that, I think we would be much, much better off if we stopped electing ‘intellectuals’ to public office and instead put in place people who have actually done something useful for a living. I would rather have a bricklayer as president, and a refrigerator repairman as speaker of the house than to have any more of the types of people we’ve been putting into office the past 20 years.

Welllllll

as he noted amidst these quotes:

http://twoday.net/static/omega/files/quotes_from_people_who_consider_us_subjects.htm

that piece of Marxist globalist traitorous fertilizer

sure worked hard, with Carter et al

toward insuring exactly that—one of their long held goals that the oligarchy has worked hard and long toward.

Now, with OThuga doing his best to follow his DESTROYER-IN-CHIEF orders in his typical ungrand style . . . they are on the brink of reducing the USA to ashes just as they have long planned.

Their scheduled looming WW3 on the near horizon will likely do exactly that.

How is a bankrupt nation supposed to exercise “global supremacy”?

That was not the Founders’ goal and it should not be ours.

When I watch Morning Joe, I can see the absolute glee with which that creep celebrates the downfall of America. And, of course, it was Carter and the gang who started the downward spiral. I loved Ronald Reagan but I see him more and more as a passing phase in my beloved America. I hope I’m wrong. Please tell me I am.

When we consider the likes of JFK, LBJ, Jimmuh, RR, GB1, WJC, GB2 and Obama, Reagan stands out as the exception. Clearly, despite the failure of nobama, another Rweagan has not emerged to replace the worst POTUS EVER!!!!

Looking at the list above, you can see the downward spiral and trace the major shifts into the mud and the one bright spot that occurred within that group.

I can’t tell you, at this moment, that you are wrong.

Thanks for your honesty. It’s what I’ve now felt for awhile - that Reagan and Thatcher were brief pauses in the destruction of the West.

From the guy who oversaw giving away title to the Panama Canal and served the administration that caved in upon itself over the hostages in our Iran embassy...

Is he venturing an opinion or gloating?

For that matter, the administration he served looks a bit like the current group of idiots.

Too bad we can’t find another Reagan waiting in the wings.

Oh my, you read my mind! As I was looking through my messages, I was thinking the same thing! We are still stuck with evil Carter, Brezinski, Clinton, the vile Soros and God knows who else. Truly, the good DO die young - or at least middle-aged - or, waaaay before the evildoers.

I wish the days of this loser Brzezinski appearing on television shows and shooting off his mouth were “over.”
