I don’t see much difference between the two. It’s like this: I’ve swallowed hard and voted for some pretty lousy Republican candidates in the past. Now they’re trying to shove a liberal-—not moderate, LIBERAL-—abortion lover, cult member, and sodomite panderer down my throat. Not to mention he’s a loathsome, vicious, underhanded, puffed-up phony. I’m done. As a Christian, I simply cannot, and will not support THAT. My principles will only stretch so far.

If I cast a vote for Romney, I might as well give up and start voting for leftwing Democrats-—it’s the same thing. I’m doing my part to try and keep him away from the nomination, but if it happens, I will not accept blame for refusing to participate in the shame.

I agree about Newt. I’m with you on that one. At the end of the day it’s about the lesser of two evils, I’m afraid. I think some FReepers go a bit too far in equating Romney with 0bama. At least Romney UNDERSTANDS the business model and would REALLY repair some of 0bama’s damage to the private sector.
