Tula, Okla. – Two arrests have been made in the North Tulsa shootings that left three African-American men dead, FOX23 reports.
The Tulsa Police Department sent out a press release early Sunday stating that two males had been apprehended.
"Within 24 hours of its formation, the task force "Operation Random Shooter" has completed its mission. At 1:47am, officers apprehended suspects of the North Tulsa shootings that occurred on Good Friday.
Jake England, 19 year old white male, and Alvin Watts, 32 year old white male, have been arrested and will be charged with 3 counts of murder and 2 counts of shooting with intent to kill.

In that case, the only way the authorities could reasonably contort this situation is suicide-by-cop, which obviously wasn’t the case if any of these reports are accurate. As far as I’m concerned, they’re innocent until tried and the preponderance of the evidence looks otherwise. Even so, the mood of despair is more likely to lead to immobilization and/or self-destructive acts (only my own observations.)
Additionally, people look at a photo and declare a person “white trash” or “idiot” or something. I live in a rural setting and some of the other humans here might look somewhat atypical, but they are honorable, honest, work for a living, etc.
Woah, go back and read their comments again.
If you read his final post that is the impression given, it could mean different things other then what we infer from it.
As for the “white trash” and “idiot” comments you should address them to the posters that made them up thread, I didn't.

I didn’t mean to cast aspersions. Definitely not directed at you. Just bemused that people can look at a photo and make a judgment.
On the contrary if they are responsible I loath them for being so earth shaking stupid in public . That being said however let the trial with proper evidence take place . No statements about physical evidence have been made this may be a scapegoating exercise on the part of the police & the politicians to defuse racial tensions & to not inspire a visit from Al & Jesse and the NBPP .

OJ killed two innocent people and his “brothers and sisters” cheered all over the country when the jury acquitted him.
One of the most discouraging days of my life. I had seriously thought the black people on the jury could see past race and do the right thing. Just as I would do if on a jury for a white guy accused of killing two black people. Such as the trial coming up for these two. Very sad.
That's the way most criminals are caught. They are just too freaking stupid to keep their mouths shut, and somebody rats them out.

Based on Watts' Facebook page more than anything else, really.

Why would you say that?
Look at the threads, that England guy is the focus of the investigation.
White whiteys, bad uns, at that.
The only thing I've really noticed on the threads is that just about everyone's talking about the England guy, for reasons having nothing to do with "the focus of the investigation." I haven't seen any report of an acutal investigation, so maybe I've missed something other than all this speculation. If so, I'd be happy if you link it here.
So, assuming I'm entitled to speculate as much as the next guy (or gal), here's why I think Alvin Watts is the more likely shooter:
1. He's almost 20 years older than England.
2. His facebook posts sound like he's a VERY angry, thuggish-type guy with a pretty out of control temper. Frequent fights and confrontations with little or no provocation. Even his ex-girlfriend posts that it's his own fault she broke up with him because he bullied and threatened a 68-year-old heart patient. That's just one example of about 4 or 5 I found in reading just a couple pages of his facebook posts. It sure doesn't look like he had many friends in that town.
3. By contrast, England's facebook page seems to show a guy grieving over the death (suicide, I believe) of his fiancee, the mother of his illegitimate infant child. Lots of posts about the stress of him trying to care for the baby and be a single father. Lots of posts about the grief of losing his fiancee. Lots of posts about grieving the killing of his father. Some posts about him thinking about "ending it all." He sounds depressed and suicidal, not really rageful or even angry.
4. I don't see any messages on England's facebook page about him being involved in fights or confrontations.
5. England's facebook seems to have a lot of local friends and family members trying to help and support him.
6. The white truck, reported to have been the getaway vehicle in the shootings, belongs to England. Just another reason I think it more likely England was driving the truck and Watts was shotgun...literally.
Based on all the above, my speculation is that an older, possibly sociopathic, possibly with criminal background, Alvin Watts meets England somewhere, forms a friendship with him, and is the very dominant one in the friendhip. Purely talking out of my hat here, like everyone else, but I can see Alvin Watts being the shooter, and being a pretty typical multiple shooter, as far as typical goes there. I don't see it as easily with the younger guy, England.
I heard that on the news and noticed the same thing. The shooters were white, the victims were all black.
And I too, thought, that if the situation were reversed, no mention of the races of anyone would have been mentioned.

Criminals are criminals, period. Now, if we could only apply the term to black criminals without being called racists.
To think that there are people who might go out hunting for people to shoot just because their skin color in dark..... You’re right. The utter truth is that most people have no idea what their racial background is beyond their great-grandparents. So many Americans get a shock when they have their genes “mapped.” One of my “white friends” had Native-American and Black in heavier proportion than she did Scandinavian that she always sworn she was, on the basis of her great-grandfather’s immigration from Norway and the blond hair and blue eyes in most of the family. One of my “black” clients got a shock when he got a “genemap” back and it said that his family primarily came from Syria and Qatar - very little from the African continent!
One thing is certain: we are all God’s people.

Living out in the country, however, is going to be safer for the minority population.
We live in very rural Upstate NY and the minority population (blacks) here has no illusions about what most of black culture in the cities is about. They can’t stand it. And since everyone out here knows everyone else, I think they are likely safer than being the minority within cities. Not *safe* but *safer*.
Many years ago (back in the 60’s) a black co-worker of my father’s told him that if ever there was a race war in the US, it would ultimately be between the blacks and the blacks, not the blacks and the white. Things have changed since then, however.
The whole scenario does leave lots of room for speculation.....
Like how much more ammo I should stock up on.
