The evening news broadcasts all but spiked the largest legal action in history to defend our constitutionally protected religious freedom. The May 21 editions of ABC’s World News and NBC’s Nightly News refused to report the fact that 43 Catholic dioceses and organizations filed a lawsuit on Monday against the Obama administration. CBS Evening News gave this historic news a mere 19 seconds of air time.
This is the worst bias by omission I have seen in the quarter century history of the Media Research Center. Every American knows about the Chinese communists withholding for 20 years the news that the US had landed on the moon, because it reflected poorly on the government. Our US media today are no different. They are now withholding news from the American people if it is harmful to the re-election of Barack Obama.
This is not a mistake, nor is it an editorial oversight by the broadcast networks. This is a deliberate and insidious withholding of national news to protect the ‘Chosen One’ who ABC, CBS and NBC have worked so hard to elect and are now abusing their journalistic influence to reelect Obama. And when a network like CBS mentions the suit ever-so-briefly, they deliberately distort the issue by framing it as a contraception lawsuit instead of what they know it to be: a religious freedom issue. It’s bogus, dishonest – a flat out lie.
The fact is that the Catholic Church has unleashed legal Armageddon on the administration, promising ‘we will not comply’ with a health law that strips Catholics of their religious liberty. If this isn't 'news' then there's no such thing as news. This should be leading newscasts and the subject of special, in-depth reports. Instead, these networks are sending a clear message to all Americans that the networks will go to any lengths – even censoring from the public an event of this historic magnitude – to prevent the release of any information that will hurt Obama’s chances of re-election.
The so-called 'news' media have sunk to a new low. This is despicable.
Guess that’s why most get the news from the internet now. We get ALL the news, not what is handpicked by the liberal media.
Well said. I may convert to Catholicism out of respect for their courage and unity. Obama may not win this fight but the average 20-something bimbo won’t even know about it because the media will be busy vetting Ann Romney’s horses.

Is this the same “news” that has neglected to report the growing spike in black on white crimes all around America???????? No...you’re kidding me.
I’ve come to notice...stories like this will end up on the major networks...after about ten days. I think most of the reason for this is the length of time it takes to figure a slant that makes sufficient sense to the remaining viewers they have.
It’s like the Today Show. Typically, it take typically five days for them to have a fairly big political story appear. Stories like ships sinking or coal mine accidents are fairly simple to tell....within hours after they occur.
I’d almost put the Today Show at the same level as these reality shows (Goldrush or Axemen). It’s fairly fake but they try their best to make it seem real.
Sorry I still think the lack of vetting of O’Dumby was the largest omission the news media made.

Why was it, is today, and will be tomorrow impossible for Pakistan to curb much less expel the Taliban from its country? The Taliban was created by Pakistan's SIS to counter the Russian invasion of Afghanistan and as a tool to be used against Hindu India in cashmere. That's right - the Taliban was created by Pakistan; there is no way the Army or government (I listed in them correct order based of their internal powers) are going to throw their “BABY” out.
Now, about Obama.
Obama was the creation of the LMSM in 22007/08. He is their “BABY” and they are not going to report on anything that makes him look weak, ineffective, or bad. Hence the selective reporting of events, extremely biased reporting of events, and heavy screwed polls to get the correct results.
Now you know why it is called “STATE-RUN media”.
Why would anyone look at CBS for news, anyway?
ABC, CBS, NBC .... Nobody watches them anyway!

Even Fox News is not mentioning the lawsuit. I first ran into info about it at yahoo news. Then on the Blaze. I tuned into Fox News today a little bit and have not heared a thing about it.
But these are the same people not covering Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Posse that is looking into Obama’s Background and the Breitbart vetting of Obama’s past including Obama’s Literary Agent Booklet listing Obama as ‘Born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia’. Plus they aren’t talking Wisconsin much. And they haven’t had Jay Cost, the author of “Spoiled Rotten: How the Politics of Patronage Corrupted the Once Noble Democratic Party and Now Threatens the American Republic” on any show yet.
