This must be another reason they take young guys. LOL

A pea jacket is actually a "jacket jacket."
The "pea" part of its name is from the Dutch word pij,
which is a sailor's garment.

Despite their finickiness,
an average cat consumes about 127,750 calories a year,
nearly 28 times their own weight in food
and the same amount again in liquids.

cats cannot survive on a vegetarian diet.

Mercury rotates very slowly

I've got to make my rounds and then get to work.
Today is my last work day for the next 6 days.
So I have lots to do before leaving today.
Not to worry, I'll be back and I have the thread to post tonight
and can stay a little later than norm.
Please stay.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!

Come in and sit for a while.

There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

Don't know what's up...so slow on this end.
I'd hit the post button - rapid fire - but it would post once. UGH!
I don't have time for this as I have lots to do today.
(p.s. it was 70 out when I got to work)

USCGC Eagle (WIX 327) Love it!!

I was on board the Eagle a long time ago. Must've been around the Bicentennial. It was docked at the South Street Seaport. I think the reason it remains in my mind is because we (and many others) were stuck under a canopy on deck for what seemed to be an hour or so during a major downpour, and there was just no place else to run to for shelter on the pier.

Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))

It’s going well for a work morning. Just having my tea and
roll before having to get ready to head ‘em up!

Hope you and Bo have a great day....maybe a trip to the lake?
Hope his poor nose is better today!
