Enemy Inside The Gate

It can be argued, by mere observation, that Barack Obama has little fealty to America, and more fealty to certain concepts and ideologies. Those ideologies are Black Liberation Theology, of which he was a student in Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ for many decades; of global governance; and of socialism... perhaps even Marxism.

The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. One may readily discard a politicians words, and instead look to their works. The words are intended to mislead, and the works are intended to achieve.

Obama's actions that show his loyalty to a very controversial view, that of Black Liberation Theology, are many. Black Liberation Theology is based on an underlying assumption few of us would disagree with -- that Jesus held out for the oppressed and that in American history, blacks were oppressed. No one would deny these two theses. Where Black Liberation Theology diverges from mainstream, even rational, thought is that it also holds that there is such a thing as a 'white church', that it is a work of the Antichrist, and that all American institutions are, by definition and presently, racist.

Barack Obama's primary actions that show he embraces these doctrines are in his appointment and ongoing support of Eric Holder, the Attorney General of the United States. Mr. Holder has steadfastly refused to prosecute the New Black Panthers for issuing death threats and bounties against George Zimmerman, and refused to prosecute members of the same organization who expressly brandished weapons in an effort to deter white voters from entering a voting place in Philadelphia. Recently, he has condemned Voter ID -- measures intended to stop voter fraud -- as an attack on the 'sacred right to vote'. These are several of the more visible actions. How many hundreds of similar actions (based on a dismissive attitude towards prosecution of only one segment of the population) are there, that the public does not hear about? We also have the outright admission of Mr. Holder that he is expressly allied with the New Black Panther party, when he famously said that the mere existence of the case demeans 'my people'.

Obama's own speech shows that he is an advocate for global governance. When abroad on November the 9th, 2010, he stated that "There is going to be a tug-of-war within the US between those who see globalization as a threat and those who accept we live in a open integrated world, which has challenges and opportunities." This particular allegiance can safely be marked as 'confirmed' by his own words. His actions mirror his words, as well: He pushed for the Law of the Sea Treaty, which empowers the UN to tax all nations, including ours, by seizing royalties nations collect for use of international waters near their borders. This is but one egregious example, there are many more.

Certainly no one can seriously argue, at this juncture, that Obama is not predisposed to socialism. He famously stated, in the Joe the Plumber incident, that he "[thinks] when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody." Most people would define that as a form of socialism, in which wealth is distributed and 'leveled' from those who create it, to those that do not. Then, of course, we have the infamous 'Obamacare' measure, in which people would be forced to participate in an insurance program that the Administration and it's allies have admitted, would be best run as a single-payer (read: government) program. In other countries, they readily admit that this is Socialized Medicine. Here, in America, the pundits are not so forthcoming.

So, we have seen that Obama has loyalty to a lot of ideologies that America and her citizens have long opposed. When a man is behoven to ideologies over a nation, and over the will of the citizens and contrary to their benefit, he cannot be said to be loyal to that nation.

For nations can endure many setbacks and deprivations, but when it is lead by a man disloyal to that nation’s interest, when he prefers certain ideologies to national loyalty, and when he cedes sovereignty to a global interest, how is a nation to survive that? When the halls of the nations capitols ring with arguments meant to aid external and foreign entities at the cost of a nation, that nation cannot long survive, An enemy army outside the gate is much less fearsome than an enemy ruler, directing our own destruction, inside the gate.

It seems we have such a leader.

Now, that’s no metaphor. ‘Breaking the win,” would be expressing it metaphorically.

Dear Mr. Mataz: The Trinity United Church of Christ has as much to do with Christ as the Holy Roman Empire had to do with Rome. Thank you, that is all.

Which brings me to the topic of lefthanded complements. Yesterday morning a pal of mine reviewing some CD he had bought wrote me: "'Good looking for a hunchback', as our mutual friend K. would say", which saying had been probably translated from German or Russian. I scratched my head all day trying to think of an American equivalent, I know there are many, but I just couldn't remember. Any hints?

(Sorry, Laz, don't wanna hijack your thread, but a BUMP oughta be useful, no?!)

I know its a stretch...

The only “good” thing about Buckwheat getting re-elected is that we will have time and history on our side to get our ducks in a row and impeach the second democrat POTUS in less than 20 years. The blue dress and diddling interns (all the while used as a distraction for military/political jockeying) wasnt a big enough blip on the radar, but the latest batch of high crimes would hopefully end him and a few of his friends up behind bars, and with it should go the hopes and dreams of the Democratic party in this country.

We did it once ! We can do it again !!

Thank you!!

Plain and simple, Obama's world view, derived from the ideas in which he immersed himself earlier, is at odds with and in direct conflict with our written Constitution's strict and severe limits on the power "the People" allow its elected representatives to possess.

"The People," who, according to Justice Story's "Commentaries on the Constitution. . . ," are the "only KEEPERS", of that Constitution must, themselves, understand those limits and bounds on coercive power in government, or they may be hoodwinked into temporarily yielding up their constitutional rights to what George Washington described as a leader "more artful" than the rest.

In this President, we see an "artful" individual who is using every semantic trick and ideological maneuver he can come up with to extend his "reign" and to break the "chains of the Constitution" (Jefferson) on his power.

Thus, the use of that powerful and destructive appeal to the human capacity for "envy" and division of the voters, pitting those who have less against those who have more material possessions, because he understands that the numbers of potential votes among those of the former exceed those of the latter.

All the while he pulls this magic trick in the media, he is, himself, especially enamoured of the very "rich" "millionaires and billionaires" whom he castigates before the general public. Check out his black tie fund-raising parties. They are not conducted among people of ordinary income, even though he also "envies" even the poor people's "contributions" to his power grab attempt.

"Equality before the law" is the great principle underlying America's Constitution.

The President's utopian view is of a forced equality which reduces all to a level of mediocrity well known throughout history and in the modern world.

Americans should hold fast to the Founders' ideas of liberty instead of allowing its leaders to plunge it into European-style socialism. To do that, however, they will have to reclaim their rightful place as the authors and only KEEPERS of the Constitution--a document too sacred and precious to the cause of liberty to be entrusted to elected officials.
