When selling the business of patriotism, put emphasis on the red.
A little over a week before America celebrates its 236th birthday, Wisconsin-based flag seller Liberty Flag & Specialty Co. filed for bankruptcy protection.

Again, I have not looked since just before the 4th last year, but even the itty-bitty, cheap plastic ones were made in the USA. I was surprised, frankly.
Well when even American flags are in danger, we need to do something.
Seriously.
We can joke about this, but eventually we will make nothing and all be unemployed.
Period. Democrat or Republican. It’s got to stop.
I say let’s start with US Flags.
Look for Annan flags...made in the USA. Big manufacturer.
I would still expect any business, regardless of what it is, to keep expenses to a minimum. A 9-person shop doesn’t need executives. And I would think that the office for owner/manager would be IN the shop - not at a ‘headquarters’.
I worked for a family-owned business years ago. They tried to help other family members by bringing them in to run the business, rather than putting them on the shop floor. It got too top-heavy & they almost ran it OUT of business. They finally had to make some sensible changes - like letting those family members find jobs somewhere else.
And who is going to buy our exports?
Liberty Flag needs a tax payer funded bailout ASAP.
It's Annin.
(Just trying to prevent frustrating web searches)
Frankly anymore, we needn’t worry about buying our exports.
Nobody does, unless there’s some other reason to buy them.
So sell what we do now, but tax all imports.
Now. We’ll sell the same amount overseas, and buy more internally.
That’s not perfect, but it’s a start in the right direction!
Same here.
And you think nobody will retaliate by raising tariffs on our exports and decimating what exports we have left?
We now fly this at our house.
(on our third flag)
Because if they don't use the bank's cash collateral, the executives can't maintain their lifestyle.
If I spotted the correct 'Community First Bank', it looks like they've already reserved for the loss. (One of them had loss reserves more than 1000% of delinquent loans, and I'm guessing that it is this one that they were preparing for.)
“They say flagpole sales are outpacing American flag sales. Hmmmmm....”
That’s for all the new islamic sharia (SPIT!) flags which’ll be flying if 0bummer (SPIT!) wins the GE on 11/6. Flying an American Flag will become a crime if that POS’s re-elected.
I just took delivery of a new US flag yesterday. It was made by Annin which I believe is the largest US flag manufacturer in the country. The info sheet that came with the flag states that Annin flags are assembled in the US of US made fabric. Annin is headquartered in northern New Jersey and has three flag plants in the US. This family owned company has been in business since the mid 1800s.
"Thats for all the new islamic sharia (SPIT!) flags which lib-dems/LSMs will be happily flying if 0bummer (SPIT!) wins the GE on 11/6. Flying an American Flag will become a crime if that POSs re-elected."
I’ve never had a problem finding a US-made US flag. The companies that manufacture them here advertise it (as they should).
Now that we can tax inactivity, I suggest a $100.00 Tax on anyone who does not buy an American Flag from an American Manufacturer at least once per year, which taxpayer may avoid the tax by sending the original receipt to the IRS with its tax return each year.
Wisconsin ping: Go buy a Wisconsin made flag for the season, if you haven’t bought one yet. Menard’s carries American made American flags.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
