Conservatives Have A Secret
American Thinker ^ | August 3, 2012 | Daren Jonescu

...The entire Democratic Party, from the top down, now looks like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. The hatred of America is open. The desire to undo American constitutionalism is explicit. And this exposure will only accelerate in the coming months and years, as the left realizes ever more acutely that its days as an accepted political faction are numbered, and it is forced to take increasingly drastic and sudden measures to achieve its brutal aims before the clock runs out....It has become patently clear that the present Republican Party establishment is not up for this fight. Constitutional conservatives must do it themselves, using the GOP apparatus as just one tool. They must remain cool and workmanlike, rebuilding dams faster than the leftist waves can knock them down. This is the means to conservative victory. One cannot merely "go back" to a better time. Societal decay cannot simply be undone. One must allow -- even encourage -- the progressive degeneration to play itself out, fighting it at every turn until the leftists, seething with an increasingly open hatred of America, overplay their hand and self-destruct.

“the left realizes...it’s days are numbered...forced to take increasingly drastic and sudden measures to achieve its brutal aims before the clock runs out”

Examples of this ... the left creating crises that they have to solve (such as financial collapse), obama’s czars, obama saying Congress has not acted so he will, obama’s executive orders, passage of nearly 2,000 pages of ocare citizen control (attempting to deem it passed), nationwide unemployment, a bankrupt nation, and so on.

They do realize their days are short and they are pulling out all the stops to force their evil on us.

And with continued cooperation from the LSM, Spain, soros, third party candidates, and phonied up polls that keep it close enough to steal, I fear massive election fraud on a scale never before seen - then more of the same transforming of America on a much larger scale.

May God have mercy on us.

...the Left: arbitrary, dictatorial, and very much the mark of a new aristocracy taking place under the Divine Right Of Party. That is a relic of the past.

Yes. The Constitution is the manifesto of our national revolution. It is a revolutionary document that damns the aristocracy as the opressor of the people.

Government, especially our federal government, has embellished itself with the mantle of despotism. As such it has become the enemy of the revolution, of the Constitution.

There is a constituency willing to trade personal dignity for the government feeding trough. Their stake in government is as consumers of the swill ladled by their masters.

It is not the purpose of the aristocracy to satisfy the needs of its abject supporters. Rather, they provide just enough to create hunger for more of their swill. This cattle constituency will stampede to be fed.

I could go on but you get the point.

“The tradeoff the GOP-E & Romney are engaging in is this: they think they don’t need conservatives to win this election, so they’re tossing us overboard. They are counting on enough conservatives to compromise their principles, hold their nose at the voting booth yet again, and to hell with the principled conservatives.”

Bingo!

We have to wake up the voters.

And how do we wake up “the voters”?

There is a segment of the electorate that is solidly behind Obama and his socialist agenda. I don’t think they can ever be woken up. Honestly, the best we can hope for is that some of them become demoralized and stay home.

For those who can be reached, is a coherent conservative message enough? Even if we could bring another Reagan to the table, would it stop the demographic math that seems to point towards a future filled with defeat after defeat for conservative candidates?

If the only available answer is the self destruction of the left, then how do conservatives help them along? Is the game merely to hold on until that hopefully happens, or are there things we can do to provoke the enemy into making the mistakes that have to happen for the grip they have on the entitled class to be broken?

Well, it seems to me, if one believes the socialist-left need to self-destruct to begone, then likely they, their programs and ideas and constituents will have to utterly collapse in ruin.

As has been said, it will be a hideous mess.

No one is contemplating surrender it should be mentioned; that isn't that issue. Far from it, individual conservative victories are important and will lay the groundwork for ultimate triumph--the renewal.

Ha...your observation indirectly says a lot about the Left...and given my first hand experience with leftist demonstrators confirms that entirely.

One of the most satisfying and encouraging things I perceived when engaging in demonstrations was the glaring difference between left and right encompassing neatness, consideration for public and private property, civility and politeness.

There is a huge gulf there, and we are on the correct (right) side. It just validates the inherent superiority at a basic level without even analyzing the specifics.

It really isn’t about buying chicken any more than a farmer picking up a handful of soil on property he wants to purchase for farming is about producing a crop.

Chick-Fil-A is a finger testing the temperature of water of public sentiment, not the tool to directly combat leftists.

I readily admit that I am conflicted about using leftist tactics. I have always been a believer that when engaging in a fight with someone who is known to use dirty tactics, using those same tactics is fair, but using the tactics of the left seems to invoke a struggle at the very core of my principles.

“Constitutional conservatives must do it themselves,”

What I fear is that many on the “Conservative” side will make the mistake of ignoring the Constitution to get what they perceive as the “right” way. If we don’t follow the Constitution we are doomed to fail and will give the victory to the left’s “progressives” by making it easier to sell their pablum. If I was running things the first thing I would do to prove my bona fides would be to repeal the Patriot Act, which has become a war against the American People. If it isn’t Constitutional it is wrong. I don’t care what the robed ones say.
A tyrant whether, Conservative, Liberal, Christian or Atheist is still a tyrant and should be put down.
