Harry Reid made a wild claim with no evidence and accused Mitt Romney of being a felon. His evidence? A call he got at the office. That’s it. And then he doubles down and says ‘the word is out there - Mitt has to prove he paid taxes’. It’s such a pathetic and false attack it’s a wonder how Harry Reid lives with himself. Glenn gives Reid a taste of his own medicine on radio today as lots of ‘calls’ came into the ‘office’ with disturbing rumors about Harry Reid - (watch video)
Here is Reid’s statement on Romney’s taxes:
“The word’s out that he hasn’t paid any taxes for 10 years. Let him prove that he has paid them. Where is the proof that he has paid taxes? The one partial tax return shows that he has money hidden in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, in a Swiss bank account.”

Harry Reid should resign. Mitt should challenge him...show evidence or resign. His lies are unworthy of a member of the Senate..let alone the Leader.

What is the tax return going to show? A bunch of losses carried over for a couple of years that off set his tax liability.

You know, like the rumor that Harry Reid used to double-date with Jerry Sandusky.
That would be an awful rumor to spread.
Or that Nancy Pelosi sometimes conducted the official duties as Speaker of the House while stone cold sober.
That would be just terrible, to go around spreading that rumor.
Or that Elizabeth Warren knowingly falsified her racial credentials to improve her chances of getting plum academic posts.
That would be a really bad rumor to spread.
So let's not do any of that, OK?
