Palin: Tea partiers have 'no choice' but Romney; 'Of course they're going w/ anybody but Obama'
WorldNetDaily ^ | August 13, 2012 | Drew Zahn

After a long and sharply contested GOP primary battle, many Republicans, conservatives and tea-party types have been left questioning whether they can, in good conscience, vote for Mitt Romney in November.

Romney’s statements as a former advocate of legalized abortion, his hotly contested record on same-sex marriage and his health-care reforms while governor of Massachusetts – sometimes maligned as “Romneycare” – have left conservatives uncertain if the presumptive Republican nominee is really one of their own.

Tea-party darling and former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, however, is basically dismissing the concerns, telling Fox News Channel’s Shannon Bream that Romney has the Republican Party’s conservative base in the bag.

On “America’s News Headquarters” over the weekend, host Bream asked Palin if Romney’s choice of Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., as running mate would help persuade those “not completely sold” on the name at the top of the GOP ticket...

Wait, there is a window, remember, when God closes a door, He opens a window. We could vote third party, or write in someone and vote conservative the rest of the ticket.

Opening the window wide so Obama can leap through like the Evil Villain and begin The Destruction of America, Part II.

No thanks.

What do these people suggest as an alternative? 4 more years of Obama?
___________________________
They suggest if we elect enough strong conservatives down ticket they will be able to hold 0bama in check.

They are mistaken - the man will just issue more personal edicts and no one will do anything to stop him.

I’m afraid Sarah’s saying this will cause many of those who love her here to climb off the bandwagon, but she’s right.

[ This election is the last exit ramp before the cliff.
It may very well be too late as it is, but if we take this exit, we’ll have a few more years, at least, before it all comes crashing down. The math can’t be denied. ]

Correction, This election is the last exit ramp before the cliff, however the exit ramp takes us back to the road that leads to the cliff and puts us back onto the road before the REAL exit ramp, we can also circle back again on the same exit ramp or go over the cliff....

...............Real Exit
.............../
============================= Cliff
....../___________________\
......\===== EXIT Loop===/

We passed the REAL EXIT in 2008, we can only hope to loop back for another chance at the REAL EXIT using the Loop called Romney/Ryan.

Sorry about the horrible ASCII diagram.

Romney clearly has a brain. I'm willing to believe he had innate conservative tendencies which strengthened as he aged (particularly in light of Paul Ryan as his VP choice). The two of them seem to have similar abilities and thinking styles and will make a capable economic team.

At best Romney is apolitical or bipolitical. I definitely don't agree that he thinks like Paul Ryan. Ryan clearly bases all his thoughts on core principles and values, while Romney is much more of an "ends justify the means" type. Romney is not someone who can be believed or trusted. But he apparently can be swayed by pressure. So as long as the conservative side puts more pressure on than the liberal side in years to come, he could do an okay job just governing by polling numbers like Clinton did from 94-98.

She's been saying ABO ever since the primary when Fox seemed to pass out talking points ordering their staff to ask anyone who wasn't endorsing Romney if they would back Romney in the general election if he ended up winning the primary.

I’d say you probably need to think again.

I definitely believe that Obama does not think like Paul Ryan.

We must all hang together behind Romney, or most assuredly we shall all ride separately in the boxcars to the re-education camps.

“The good news is that we have the opportunity to throw Obama out.”

EXACTLY. And my family and I are going to seize that opportunity to throw Obama out and vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket.

Tagline update test post.

We are conducting a tagline update test in this post. If this had been an actual post, half of you would have been offended in some way, and an additional 25% would be muttering under their breath that the poster was a compleat idiot.

This concludes the tagline update test. Thank you for your bandwidth.

Back when the primaries were hot, many, many were saying they are not going to again fall victim to ‘we have no choice’. But guess what, when all is said and done, they toe the R line and end up saying they won’t do that again.

Well just gotta ask where were the tea partiers during the primaries? Where was Palin, as far as I am concerned she rode the fence during the entire process.

Don’t worry. They’ve got Ryan now. They found out he was called a “brown nose” in his high school year book. That’ll make the evening news cycle for a couple of weeks until Dingy Harry hears a story that Romney is a serial murderer.

I feel kind of sorry for “real Democrats”...although these days they are more difficult to find. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HAD NO CHOICE! Who ran against Obama? I bet many would not have chosen him in a primary. Talk about a candidate being forced down your throat by the [Democrat] establishment. Some of them would NEVER vote for a communist. And we will see those people agreeing with “anybody but Obama”. I really think this is going to be a landslide... Too many Dems I know have slipped quietly into the “silent majority”. They know this man isn’t a Democrat, he is something else and they are smelling a rat, a DemocRAT.

We have to remove Obama from office..we have no choice in the matter. I am no fan of Romney, never liked him, never will, but we have to defeat Obama. Obama is a Communist and his thugs want this country destroyed

I know we will hear from some that will not ever vote for Mittins but the other choice is so fearful that there is no alternative. I'm afraid that it really doesn't matter anymore because the whole thing will implode no matter what we do on out.
