Gay Boy Scouts or Fake Duke LaCrosse Rapes: I Choose Conservative Christian Akins over Romney
Self | 24 Aug 12 | Xzins

Posted on 08/21/2012 7:08:56 PM PDT by xzins

Oh how soon we forget!

Sean Hannity was in the lead on the story throughout. False accusations of rape against Duke Lacrosse players made headline news. Then we learned she was pregnant. Now disbarred District Attorney Michael Nifong withheld crucial DNA evidence that proved not one of the accused had been with the accuser sexually. Subsequent DNA tests demonstrated that there would be no paternity liability on the part of any of them. She was not impregnated during her fake rape. Apparently, that happened later at her discretion.

In short, it was not a LEGITIMATE rape. In fact, it was so illegitimate that the DA lost his reputation, his office, his license, and his career.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mitt Romney has gone on record continuing his support of a gay boy scout organization. This, of course -- continuing our sports theme -- is a triple double. Romney needed something to fit snugly between his past and present support for a gay military and gay adoption by gay couples.

Firestorm?

Nah, Romney’s homosexualism was just “fine and dandy AOK.” After all it wasn't in defense of innocent life as was Representative Todd Akins' comment that there's a difference between fake rape and legitimate rape. (See Lacrosse example above.) Also, Akins had the temerity to suggest that a receptive female partner in a willing relationship is more likely to become pregnant than is a violently assaulted woman. There is a certain hopeful logic to that whether or not one knows that violent rape does result in pregnancy.

More to the point is Akins' intent. If there were mistakes made in a rush of words, were they mistakes of the head or mistakes of the heart?

This consistently life-affirming, conservative Christian legislator has huge conservative ratings with the American Conservative Union. A graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, a school renowned as a bastion of traditional, bible-believing Christianity, Representative Akins earned a Master of Divinity. It is rare for one to pursue a Master of Divinity without some sense of divine calling. After all, it is the preparatory degree for ordained ministry. Also, it is among the lengthiest of masters degrees, requiring over 90 semester hours for completion when most others are in the 35-40 hour range. Finally, Akins was only addressing the subject because he was trying to make a pro-life point about saving the life of a baby resulting from rape.

Of course, this is circumstantial evidence about the intent of Representative Akins' heart. In any case, he was advocating immoral behavior as is Mitt Romney’s homosexualism.

So, if I was given the chance to replace one and keep the other....I'd be showing Boy Scout Mitt the door.

IMHO anyone who isn’t absolutely repulsed by the idea of homosexual sex must harbor homosexual feelings.

In this case I believe that Romney is a closet homo. He can’t sue me for that because it may be true and if it isn’t, he can’t claim that it is an insult, since he thinks that being a homosexual is perfectly normal and acceptable and honorable.

Akins stepped in it, but I think he can recover. There is a thread that just started that indicates that the doctor who came up with the theory Akins mentioned about forcible rape reproductive defense is a long time Romney surrogate.

Maybe Romney should step aside and let Akins in. At least Akins is naturally repulsed by the idea of men buggering men or boys buggering boys or men buggering boys.

I’m fearful that the GOP-E doesn’t want a conservative Christian Senator. They could just be going bananas because they hate blood in the water moments with MSM jouralists, but why weren’t they doing the same over Romney’s pro-gay Boy Scouts, Adoption, Military comments?

Answer: Christians are scarier than sodomites.

Actually, homosexualism was a term coined a number of years back by a regular on the religion forum.
I don't know about all that as I don't hang out on the religion forum much, but what I do know is that I can search the term and I've found an article from way back in September 04, 2001 titled "Lesbian “Rabbis” Await New Generation" which uses the term.
On the contrary, flouting rabbinical authority and undermining the divine source of scripture has always been the primary objective of radical feminism and homosexualism.

Just trying to set a quick base point into the duration of usage, not trying to find the originator.

They all got it from Bonfire of the Vanities by Tom Wolfe. I think he was the original source.

Answer: Christians are scarier than sodomites.

I'm reading the book "Bonhoeffer" by Eric Metaxes. It is a very scary book about how the liberal feel-good churches are so easily corrupted by the political zeitgeist. Very apropos to today's political scene.

Bonhoeffer was one of very few Christian philosophers and Pastors and teachers who were not taken in by the Nazi philosophy that swept over Germany. If you are a history buff it is a must read. I really didn't know how far the German Church descended into hell, all the while trying to maintain that they were Christians.

Interestingly Nazis were pro-homosexual and many of the worst Nazis were pretty much openly homosexual - or at least AC/DC.

He’s the first Mormon I’ve ever heard of who supports Gay Boy Scouts....and the only.

Are you using sarcasm or were you being serious?

“I may be fighting a losing battle, but before I pass on, I’d sure like to see “gay” restored to its rightful and original meaning.”

I am with you. Other perfectly decent words I would like to recover are:

comrade

partner

liberal

companion

progressive

discriminate

Thanks for that. Yeah, I just got down to reading your reply as I took a side detour to read what Mr. Jim had to say in the link above.
I messed up on the word anyway so...

I'm unduly tired today.

Wow. Thanks, P-M. I'll get it right away.

The forum would benefit from a brief book review as a freeper ed area.

“In this case I believe that Romney is a closet homo.”

I don’t think that. I get zero impression of that. I have seen situations where a heterosexual man of power, prestige or authority draws the a little coterie of homosexual minions however, and enjoys their infatuation and subservience. It is a psychological domination rush rather than an erotic one. That seems more likely to me. Something is wrong though. It is too much of a recurring theme in his life and career.

Your post makes total sense. Sad that people are so quick to run a pro-life conservative for a slip of the tongue.

If those are so quick to run off a conservative for such a thing...they are not conservative in the first place

If a woman can’t conceive during a ‘legitimate rape’... a child would represent an absolute defense for a rapist.

In BizzaroAkinWorld, apparently the pregnancy demonstrates consent. His ‘one word’ apology doesn’t address the fallacy that a woman can’t conceive during non-consensual intercourse.

This would interfere greatly with the idea that we should execute the rapist and not the innocent child.

This man is just too stupid to be involved in the legislative process.

Romney has no “Mormon faith,” he is a luciferian just like both Bushes, Clinton, and Obama.

There is a huge difference between the average Mormon, and those at the upper levels like Romney. But Mormonism is not the only ‘religion’ that puts up a false front. (Read up on Revelation 18)
