On Monday's edition of The Fox News Channel's "The Five", Bob Beckel insults the capabilities of our Marines by saying "no amount of Marines could have stopped the Embassy attacks".
That would only be true if those Marines had no ammo.
It seems like I've heard other RATS say the same thing over the past few days but I haven't been able to find any clips.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I heard that too. Guilfoyle responded by saying that the terrorists could have been defeated by a group of Marines because they, the terrorists, came in two separate waves.
I watched most of it, but must have missed that part. I do find it odd he would say something like that while wearing his USMC suspenders. Okay, well not really...

There are Marines in the US Embassies to keep track of cryto gear, NOT to act as a fighting force.
A large facility may have as few as a dozen Marines, that is why the FAST teams were formed up.

The comment was not a disparagement, it was a realistic statement. Bambi and Hillary, farmed security to a brit firm that agreed to unarmed security. The only armed men were the Seals that tried to help, rushing(or attempting to rush) new statements say they were taken at the safe house, though it seams they retook the compound at 1-2am after it was taken at 11:30 and then another wave came and over ran. Beckle is a lib, not a commie like bambie. I don’t agree with his politic, but don’t read more into him then what he is, a non economically educated leftist push poller.
