Suggestions for Romney?
9/28/12 | Vanity

Posted on 09/28/2012 9:40:17 PM PDT by Kay

Is there a grassroots suggestion thread for Governor Romney?

My two young adult sons told me today that they will not vote for President Obama but they do not want to vote for Romney either -- said they were sitting out the presidential vote. Stated that they did not know anything good about Romney. So I told them how Romney did not take a salary as governor or when placed over the Olympics and how he turned things around. I explained that we don't need a lawyer in the White House all the time, that we now need a business man. That the next president would make appointments to the Supreme Court. My sons are well employed but these aspects of the choices had not occurred to them. Oblivious.

It seems like the good news about Romney is not getting out there in my state. I do live in a state which is liberal so perhaps that is why we are not getting any presidential ads.

We need some testimonial ads of what Romney has done in the past and his family, too.

He’ll fund NASA and the space program to meet God on the planet Kolob.

Another thing he could do is stop campaigning altogether. He polled better when he was still “generic Republican.”

If you're looking for testimonial videos, there was a lot of this at the convention.

Videos from the GOP Convention are available on its Youtube page

Do you have any idea how many things have benefited regular folks because of our space program?

Personal computers, for one thing.
The very thing YOU write your derisive comment on.

” I explained that we don’t need a lawyer in the White House all the time, that we now need a business man. That the next president would make appointments to the Supreme Court”

You mean like GB and the Roberts go ahead with Extortion-Care?

Suggestion? Come out and state plainly mr. “businessman” that all Americans, not just the Exempt Ones, will be Exempt from Extortion-Care.

And that, mr. “businessman”, that health is our business, and that all americans shall be business empowered to self-business insure themselves, as it once was.

That you plainly speak out, that you will enact legislation, that no business, mr businessman, shall be sided or supported by government legislation mandates, forcing by duress or extortion assets from individuals. And none of these “businesses”, mr businessman, are backing your campaign from inside.

That you have 30 days or less, before the election in November that you are not supporting the issues of so called “health” fascism, that Hillary did in 08.

That you, mr businessman, come out and plainly give planned facts, and not generalities, as the more you say, shows the more you do not say, and that you may hide.

That you, unlike past Massachusetts, know how to behave and understand what checks and balances are and your responsiblility as such!

My main suggestion is that you ‘coax’ your sons into voting for Romney or cut them off!

Best thing about Romney. He is the only one that is on the ballot that can relieve us from the nightmare that is O’Bumbler. Act accordingly and MAN UP to your kids. Sometimes they appreciate a firm hand, or if necessary a back hand! And if all else fails, order their absentee ballots and VOTE FOR THEM, Just like thee thieving prick Democrats do!

Romney has never worked as a lawyer. He got a duel Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from a very select and extremely difficult program at Harvard.

He passed the MI bar, but NEVER practiced law. He is NOT now nor ever acted as a lawyer and a Business man with good law knowledge has a massive advantage in the modern business World. This has been proved by what Pres. Clinton has called Romney STERLING business record.

Romney is up against a well-oiled, progressive, liberal, communistic machine; and it's oiled by the likes of George Soros to George Clooney to JayZ and Beyonce'. Unfortunately, it is also oiled by us taxpayers to the tune of a $16 trillion slush fund—and some funds was apparently used to buy cell phones for the gullible, who would gladly give up their freedom and liberty for a free cell phone or any government handout.

But, the task is not entirely up to Romney; it's up to all of us as individuals.

I can sympathize with you: I live in a liberal state (which is becoming more and more a welfare state) and many of my friends, neighbors, and co-workers around me are either drunk on the liberal Fool-Aid, tied to their union mantra, or simply apathetic to politics. My shining hope happens to be my son, who is unfortunately too young to vote.

Being a proud, natural born a U.S. Citizen to loving parents who legally immigrated here, became U.S. Citizens themselves back in 1968, and gave me a life better than they ever had--including the honor of being the first U.S. Citizen in my family--I gladly pass that pride to my son. It’s bad enough that we have a corrupt Federal Government with a some good guys fighting a good fight, but I'll be damned should the U.S. go the way of a corrupt Socialist Europe, or a corrupt Communist Russia/China, or a corrupt banana republic. I want my son to live and be free--to have liberty!

I know there are many of us who wish Romney was all over the map, stronger and more forceful, more exciting and effective, yada yada ya. Frankly, I wish he would run more ads and stop in my state, too. But, when you look at all of what Romney is up against--including all the liberal media bias that is out there--the question isn't "What can Romney do?" or necessarily to give suggestions to him. If you want this nation to continue to be a nation of free individuals, the question to ask yourself is “What can I do?”

Instead of asking for suggestions for Romney, what can you do to help? What can your sons do? Maybe you feel you can’t do much, but I’m one who believes spreading a Conservative message--even a little--can help a lot. My son, who is a student of the public school system, is living proof of that! Your sons need to think deep and hard about the future they would like their children (if they even have children) to have. All of us and our children need to.

I don’t ever want my son to be a gullible addict on government crack like this person.

Romney is a lawyer and was licensed to practice law, I don’t understand the strength of your reaction to that information.

As far as if he ever used his license, we don’t know, and you don’t know. We are almost certain that he never took on law as a full time job though.

Posts 12 and 18, are correct.

California is not being fought over.

Thank heavens the GOP isn't flushing any money down that toilet. They apparently figured out the political version of the Chinese proverb, "Only a fool argues with a fool."

Romney NEVER WORKED AS A LAWYER. End of story. He was a businessman that had a degree in law and passed the bar exam in MI a State he never worked in after college.

I understand that technically he is a lawyer, but he NEVER WORKED IN THE LAW INDUSTRY.

In Fact O’Bumbler never worked as a lawyer much either!

Tell them that if Obama is re-elected, this WILL happen:

His health care plan will doom their parents AND THEM to an early death

His health care plan WILL keep companies in America from increasing hiring and may force them to let current employees go, making it even HARDER for them to find jobs

His Secretary of the Treasuery WILL print SO MUCH MONEY that the dollar they put in the bank today, even with the little interest it currently draws, will have th buying power of $.25 in a few years.

His foreign policy failures WILL result in more attacks like 9-11 HERE in America

His coddling of Muslims will make them such a significant power in America that their votes will endanger our ENTIRE way of life from equality of women to how we dress, what we eat, the kind of pets we can keep, our freedom of speech, the right to sing, dance and enjoy music and art. They will turn America into the equivalent of Saudi Arabia.

They WILL enjoy a standard of living equivalent to that of a third world nature

Obama believes Americans are too well-fed, too well medicated, too warm in winter and too cool in summer

His domestic energy policies will make us even MORE subject to the influence of hostile foreign powers, and destroy our ability to compete in the world.

Romney is a business man who made a successful career CREATING jobs while Obama never ran so much as a lemonade stand and his policies reflect that.

FINALLY, tell them that Obama’s policies will drive you to such economic straits that you WILL kick their sorry butts into the street to fend for themselves if he has a second term.

I don’t know what you are so excited about.

My posts have all been accurate, and mild, I can’t figure out why you seem to be raving at them.

Romney is a lawyer, we are almost certain that he never worked full time as a lawyer, but we don’t know that he never did anything that involved his law license and status as a lawyer.

There isn’t anything to attack in that statement.

Explain to them the concept of “tough love.” Tell them that as much as you love them that they are on their own when the US crashes after obama’s re-election if they don’t vote for Romney.

Higher gas prices affect everyone who uses gas to get to the grocery store. More expensive gas means less in the grocery sack. Maybe no ice cream or pizza. Just lotsa mac and cheese.

More than anything else, during the 1st debate on economy, Romney needs to explain that Obama is lying

The greatest failure of the Romney campaign so far has been to not challenge each and every one of the daily LIES from Obama. Bush made this disastrous mistake when he refused to vigorous call out the demonrats on their lies. NEW TONE CRAP MY ASS!

Suggestions? I’m sure he’s getting 1000’s of them. Anything I would add would be in the nature of asking him to change from being a duck to an eagle. It ain’t gonna happen so why bother? What you see is what you get.

The gop selected a non-conservative as it’s candidate. It will win or lose based on that decision.
