Obama vs. Hillary (vanity)

Posted on 10/09/2012 7:36:04 PM PDT by TigerClaws

There a civil war within the administration? Hillary puts out a statement completely contradicting the White House "blame the trailer" / riot cover story.

Cable two days prior appears showing an ignore request for additional security.

This a 2012 vs. 2016, BO vs HC war??

Good. Let them fight amongst each other. Hillary wants 2016 and can only POSSIBLY get that only if Romney wins.

Look at the body language here, Obama's not ever going to acknowledge blame for anything and Hillary knows it. I doubt she'll ever run for President, she's let herself become fat and frazzled looking and just looks worn out and tired of it all.

RE: 2008 Hillary-Obama presidential debate

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: And, Senator [OBAMA], if you get the nomination, you'll have to beat back these distractions.

And I want to give Senator Clinton a chance to respond, but first a follow-up on this issue, general theme of patriotism, in your relationships. A gentleman named William Ayers. He was part of the Weather Underground in the 1970s. They bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol, and other buildings. He's never apologized for that.

And, in fact, on 9/11, he was quoted in the New York Times saying, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough." An early organizing meeting for your State Senate campaign was held at his house and your campaign has said you are "friendly."

Can you explain that relationship for the voters and explain to Democrats why it won't be a problem?

OBAMA: George, but this is an example of what I'm talking about. This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis.

And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense, George.

The fact is that I'm also friendly with Tom Coburn, one of the most conservative Republicans in the United States Senate, who, during his campaign, once said that it might be appropriate to apply the death penalty to those who carried out abortions.

Do I need to apologize for Mr. Coburn's statements? Because I certainly don't agree with those, either.

So this kind of game in which anybody who I know, regardless of how flimsy the relationship is, that somehow their ideas could be attributed to me, I think the American people are smarter than that. They're not going to suggest somehow that that is reflective of my views, because it obviously isn't.

CLINTON: Well, I think that is a fair general statement, but I also believe that Senator Obama served on a board with Mr. Ayers for a period of time, the Woods Foundation, which was a paid directorship position.

And, if I'm not mistaken, that relationship with Mr. Ayers on this board continued after 9/11 and after his reported comments, which were deeply hurtful to people in New York and, I would hope, to every American, because they were published on 9/11, and he said that he was just sorry they hadn't done more.

And what they did was set bombs. And in some instances, people died. So it is -- I think it is, again, an issue that people will be asking about.

And I have no doubt -- I know Senator Obama's a good man and I respect him greatly, but I think that this is an issue that certainly the Republicans will be raising.

Hillary and the [communist-revolutionary-terrorist] Black Panthers: The Real Story
Richard Poe
Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003

(snip)

"At Yale, Hillary helped edit the Yale Review of Law and Social Action – a left-wing journal which promoted cop-killing and featured cartoons of pig-faced police. (3)

A series of hard-Left mentors introduced Hillary to the brass-knuckle realities of revolutionary activism. As a Wellesley undergraduate, she met and interviewed radical organizer Saul Alinsky, whose Machiavellian tactics she admired. Hillary's senior thesis supported Alinsky's call for class warfare. (4)

At Yale, Hillary found a new Svengali in the form of left-wing law professor Thomas Emerson, known around campus as "Tommy the Commie." Emerson recruited Hillary and other students to help monitor the trial of the New Haven Nine for civil rights violations. Hillary took charge of the operation, scheduling the students in shifts, so that student monitors would always be present in the courtroom. She befriended and worked closely with Panther lawyer Charles Garry. (5)

Some believe that the enormous pressure exerted by the Left helped ensure light sentences for the New Haven Nine."

He should fire her because it was her job to protect the ambassador. He is afraid to fire her because he will loose the Clinton votes.

She should be fired.

Sorry, but hillary doesnt have the brass to win any nomination. She’s already blown her chance by her buffoonish actions as SecState.

If the Clintons harbor any desire of running in 2016 she has to man-up about the Bengazi fiasco and throw Zero under the bus before he does it to her.

I don’t know, Hillary (after Sir Edmund, you know) is the only one in that shot I see any humility from. Obamalamadingdong just looks po’d at the world as always.

“I didn’t build that, it wasn’t my fault, that ambassador dude was just supposed to be taken away to an undisclosed location so I could ride in on my white Wookie and save the day later in the week. My Muslim brothers were supposed to let me be the hero. I’ll never trust SEIU protesters from Libya, ever again. They acted stupidly. Uhhhhhhh ... aaaaaaaand ... thaaaaaat was Bush’s fault. Uhhhhhh ... aaaaaaand ... uhhhhhh, the sea levels will recede ... aaaaaand ... thaaaaaat was not the real Big Bird. Forward.”

Hillary 2016? Recent photos have her showing her age. I would be shocked if she was physically able to run for prez in another 4 years.

My guess is that whatever strength and energy she has will be used to jump start Chelsea’a political career.

Have you EVER seen Obama look humble? He either looks arrogant or mad. Hillary puzzles me because I've been 'following' her for years and she always kept herself looking neat and having a nice hairdo. Something's changed.

She doesn’t serve second term or if Obama loses. She has four years to lose weight, reconnect. Bill would be the “co President” so you know he’s for it.

Looks like a Pres vs Sec of State political battle has erupted.

Infighting = drama = good for press coverage. Bad for Obama’s campaign.

This is a good story for conservative press to pursue.

I had wondered why the administration had zero consensus or consistency of narrative on the Libyan attack. They were contradicting themselves.

It’s because it’s Hillary’s State Department that screwed up. If she resigns or takes the hit politically she’s DOA for 2016.

Hillary had more popular votes than Obama in the 2008 primaries. Many of her supporters say Obama stole that election. Google it.

This is the Clinton machine. They circulated a story a while back Hillary had been offered the VP slot with Obama willing to dump Biden. But she turned it down.

This is political hardball. It’s Hillary 2016 or Obama 2012 that’ll take a huge political hit over this absolute security meltdown resulting in four dead Americans.

So we are seeing two distinct narratives from the two factions.

Rodham and BJ (Obama) have bad blood between them. They have been striving for power all their lives and are ideological siamese twins joined at the hip.

At some point they will realize they really don't need each other anymore.

It will be something to watch.

All kinds of warnings ignore. The failure to protect the Ambassador is on Hillary’s shoulders.

But Obama is the one up for re-election. He’ll toss her under the bus in a minute. Hillary knows it. Hence the pushback today, “We never told the White House it was a spontaneous demonstration.”

Who does that hurt? Obama.

Who does it help? Hillary 2016.

Who can beat Hillary in 2016 to get the Dem nomination? She has a political machine and she got more popular vote than Obama did during the primaries.

Does Hillary want Obama to lose now so she can run against Romney who will be facing inheriting the Obama mess?

Back to back party wins after 8 year reigns is extremely rare in American history.

The cables leaked today might have come from Obama to pin the blame on Hillary.

Could be total civil war within the administration a month before the election.

You’re right, hillary had the nomination ‘ in the bag’ until Iowa where she didnt bother to keep her campaign running at full strength afterwards because of her arrogance. She’s as politically clumsy now as she was back then. The only reason she is where she is now is because of Bill not her political acumen. Dont give too much credit to the Clinton machine. If it failed her once why should it miraculously save her in the future?

Hillary is up to her neck in the cover up. First, she lies about the people “taking” Amb. Stevens to the hospital. Then, she makes that asinine apology ad which was aired in Pakistan. She has been on the same page as Obama from the start.

I’d say it’s not so much a civil war as a mutiny from within the ranks of the state department career staffers.

“I don’t know, Hillary (after Sir Edmund, you know) is the only one in that shot I see any humility from.”

If you see Hillary as being humble in that picture, with all due respect, you are hallucinating.

Hillary? Humble? MY @$$!!!

She had to play up the “mourning” angle for the cameras. Before and after LYING to the entire country about who did it, and what their motivations were.

Hillary Clinton is anything but humble. She is a proud, arrogant, condescending congenital liar.
