Power Couple Jane Fonda And Richard Perry Vote With Their Feet The actress and music producer sell their Hollywood Hills West house for $8.5 million. The home was built in 1942 for Ronald Reagan.
By Lauren Beale October 28, 2012 Just in time for the elections, actress and political activist Jane Fonda and music producer Richard Perry have sold their house in Hollywood Hills West for $8.5 million.
The traditional-style home was built in 1942 for actor Ronald Reagan and his first wife, actress Jane Wyman, according to Ronald Reagan Presidential Library archives.
The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom main house, a swimming pool, a Balinese-style pool house and a tennis court sit on the three-quarter-acre view lot.
Fonda, 74, won an Oscar in 1972 for her work in "Klute" and another in 1979 for "Coming Home." She has protested the Iraq and Vietnam wars and advocated for women's rights.
The actress is in line for a comedy series in the works at ABC called "Now What?" Fonda will play First Lady Nancy Reagan in "The Butler," a movie due out next year.
Perry, 70, has produced albums for such singing stars as Rod Stewart and Carly Simon. Fonda and Perry started dating several years ago and recently bought a house in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills.

Ultimate insult is to have Fonda as Reagan. Of course, that’s Hollywoods specialty, insults.
Every time I hear Fonda’s name I see red blotches and feel anger. My God playing Nancy of all people..
If there was ever a movie made that deserved to have absolutely ZERO attendance, this is it.
you are very correct.
evidently a movie to besmirch the Reagans.
probably just a revision of history film.
Blessings, bobo
If it was a serious film, Reagan fans would most likely flock to it, but the [liberal artsy] critics would pan it out of hand without seeing it.
With Fonda, it will have a special place in minds of the anti-Reaganites and anti-Americans.
I won’t see the movie, if it “tanks” and it likely will, the excuse will be because America doesn’t like Reagan.

We killed the last hit piece against Reagan, we can kill this one too.
I would like to vote for Jane Fonda with my foot.
I would shove it so far up her traitorous ass she would have to go to the hospital to get it out./
Her playing Nancy Reagan is an atrocity. An insult.
She is scum. If I could charge a dollar apiece for everyone who wants to to pee on her grave I could be a millionaire.
Nancy Reagan, NO. Hanoi Jane would be a natural to portray Nancy Pelosi - another dingbat bitch, “see you in tea”, who hates America.
you are very correct.
can’t remember any fonda movie i cared for. after supporting commies back in the early 70’s never had a desire to, either.
Can’t believe she came out of Henry’s loins.
there are some actors that i have really liked and would attend their movies, then when i find out they are sissy pee your pants liberals, stopped watching. no matter how well received they are.
Blessings, bobo
that is interesting. however, you would not need an actor to play pelosi.
just get a red headed psycho out of a mental institution and just let her “act naturally”.
save money on not having to pay some actress to act.
blessings, bobo
WRONG. She supported the North Vietnamese COMMUNIST military in that war. She was pro-North Vietnamese military victory in war.
Sell the lie someplace else, LAtte Times.
Movies that tank at the box office pay off their bills with endless airings on pay television (Paramount, Time-Lies-Warner, etc all have their own networks that subscribers pay for even if they don’t watch them).
And edumacational history films get shown in schools even if the history is false.
What about Cat Ballou?
I have to speak carefully here. I was flying combat missions in Vietnam in 1972 when Fonda’s traitorous @ss was on that 37mm AA seat in Hanoi. She betrayed the POWs & got them tortured, called them liars, and prolonged the war.
Ever since then I have sworn that I would rejoice madly in the streets if I learned that Fonda was suddenly dead.
May a homeless Vietnam vet be the angel of final justice.
that was a good movie, i remember now. Lee Marvin was great!
blessings, bobo
Henry was a liberal FDR-worshipping Democrat. His role in "The Grapes of Wrath" came close to being a plea for socialism. But he was still a patriotic American and wasn't totally radicalized into anti-Americanism like daughter Jane. It's interesting to note that the only way he could maintain his long-standing friendship with conservative stalwart Jimmy Stewart was to agree to never discuss politics.
Jimmy Stewart was a MAN!
as i remember correctly, he was a Brigadeer General in the Army Air Corp in WWII.
Blessings, bobo

I would shove it so far up her traitorous ass she would have to go to the hospital to get it out.
Oh come on Venturer, why waste a good foot?
