REACHING OUT

Posted on 11/11/2012 3:44:20 PM PST by 7thson

Another question for Freepers. Specifically, Freepers who are black, Hispanic, and women.

Before and since the last election, I keep hearing that the Republican Party needs to do a better job at reaching out towards blacks, Hispanics, and women. Also, the youth vote. My question - what is meant by reaching out? What precisously does the Republican Party need to say to these groups in order to get their votes? Are we suppose to outbid the Leftists?

I’m female. I like my man to act like a man. Congressional Republicans are pussies. They want to shore up the female vote? They can start acting like men and standing up for conservative values. Telling obama to go to hell along with his policies would be great; however, the GOPe should have informed the public a long time ago about what obama’s policies actually lead to. Again, they were pussies.

The Republicans should rename the party : Democratish Party. It would throw the Democrats into total confusion.

Better yet, let's change Republican to "Send Me Free Stuff," and Libertarian to "Wanna Party?." Then the Democrats would never win. Imagine a typical liberal voter going down the list, seeing "Send Me Free Stuff" with an oval next to it over or under the usual "Democrat Party" oval in the straight ticket column. I guarantee they would color in "Send Me Free Stuff" automatically, or just screw their ballot up by voting for both and get it thrown out.

Throw out this all-fraud county and Mitt wins Ohio, no question!

Why? A total of 5,364,324 “people” voted in Ohio. Obama got 2,691,861 votes, while Romney got 2,584,620, a difference of 107,241 votes.

How did Cuyahoga County’s 900,135 votes affect the final result? You do the math.

For Ohio to certify this result would be a crime in and of itself.

Personally I think as the case is strong enough, Mitt will do something. Too much is at stake, and as we just found out, Ohio is definitely Mitt’s, and Florida, too, just based on fraud in a few counties! Colorado, too!

Keep up the referrals and the sharing, everyone! Thank you SO much for helping America fix an election that has clearly been “fixed.”

Voter fraud cheapens the votes of the 60 million who picked Mitt to the point of nothingness and gives weight to those who in reality were the minority. If grand theft is defined as any theft over $5,000, what do you call the ONE BILLION times that that is likely to happen AGAIN over the next four years if we do not right this wrong?

Here is to our real President Elect and First Lady, Mitt and Ann Romney.

I do not think the Republican Party go tribal? Because that is what the Democrat Party has done for years.Legislate on behalf of the tribes you want to bond together to create a permanent political majority for yourself without regard to the other 49% of the nation or the long term viability of the nation.

I am not going to speak for my conservative black friends, but as a woman I’ll tell you that Romney was right: there is a very large percentage of the population that will never, ever be persuaded that voting Republican is in their best interests.

There are many women I know who vote D reflexively because, honestly, they are thinking with their sex organs. They’re terrified that they’re going to get knocked up and they won’t be able to have an abortion. They’re afraid that they might have to curtail or take responsibility for sexual promiscuity. To some of these people, horniness is a fate worse than death and having to keep their panties pulled up because abortion isn’t available cheaply—preferably on someone else’s dime—is intolerable.

Some of them are also acting out of repressed guilt: they’ve had abortions, and it makes them angry to hear others call this murder. If they can get all the rest of us to shut up and stop saying that abortion is murder, abortion is cutting an innocent baby into pieces, then it’s okay. If they get the rest of us to actually pay for their abortions, they have society’s imprimatur on their actions. They think they won’t have to feel guilty anymore. But they’re wrong about that.

Neither Romney, Rubio, Ryan, nor any other Republican candidate can appeal to this rather large segment of the population. Only the Holy Spirit can change their hearts.

(And lest I sound too harsh, I think a great many of these women are behaving this way because they are deeply, deeply lonely and they go to bed with a man in hopes he’ll fall in love with them and marry them. This is what they’ve been told since girlhood. Some of them are driven to screw around not by horniness but by sadness. We have let the liberals create a tragic society full of broken homes and broken hearts.)

You are right. That will work with the decent and respectful bunch. But there are hardcore people who just want to bash the right. So sometimes it is good to attack them verbally on forums. You just have to know when to do what.

The fact is the right has a image problem, with a bunch of people, and most of it a mix of conservatives being mistaken as part of the establishment thinking in D.C. that occurred during the two Bush administrations and how McCain/Romney have been so some think another repeat of that would happen if elected. The other part is nominating the wrong people for president who are not able to really articulate conservatism and as such always end up doing the wrong anti-conservative thing thus giving us a black eye.

There are at least three groups who are confused and misunderstand us.

1. Those who don’t pay enough attention to politics who either believe the left or get mixed messages and go with the left. It is called the low information voter.

2. People who think conservatives are a party of rich people who do not understand the middle class or the poor and take any comments about immigrants, blacks and the 47% percent the wrong way. And instead of thinking of it as people who live on the government on taxpayer dime and take advantage of the system, they think of examples of people who at one time or another needed services or of those on medicare. So they tend to get offended by thinking the plan is to wipe everything out quickly. Which while that is a good idea in order to balance the budget, they see it as too much too soon and as a case of having people who depend on the service being cut off in a time of need. That would be for the most part the group that won’t be able to handle any drastic cuts. They would be better off with gradual cuts and a explanation of how to help those in need. But there is a portion who have become brainwashed and will scream at any cut.

3. People who do not understand the Islamic threats, economic threats, and how radical the democrats have become and don’t treat things with the seriousness they deserve. They don’t think of the dire urgency to fix the country or get what we get. Many of those will have to suffer as they can’t grasp even the basics of the situation at hand in this time of crisis in our country and around the world. We call those both the dumb-down masses but also those who don’t understand enough and are not as worried. They have gotten misinformation.

I have to come to see it like this after managing to talk to some people in my own family this past week who disclosed that they were either voting third party or were voting Obama. I did get my own parents to vote Romney, but Mom sure has a think with thinking conservatives still get ti wrong about poor people.

I came from a family of both democrats, independents or moderates, in the real sense of the word. I am the most conservative person in the family.

This post is written in anger and frustration.

Angry that we continue to follow the Republican Party’s elite ignorance. A party that continues to pull defeat from the jaws of victory characterized by pompous fools who fulfill the sterotype built by the left.

Frustrated that the reality of politics is this: There will be no third party capable of competing with the coalition constructed by the dems. As a result, true conservatives MUST take steps to irradicate the ignorance of the Republican Party while still adhering to the core values of our forefathers (beliefs that I discovered are considered extreme by over half of my countrymen on Tuesday night, BTW).

I have no solve for exactly how to accomplish this. Only advice based on a long military career in several foreign lands for how to defeat the dems once this is accomplished.

This thought process is based on the concept of irregular warfare with twists thrown in here and there for good measure.

With that, I provide the following advice for the good of the order.

LEADERSHIP: The old crew has proven either incompotent or outdated. McConnell and Boerner must go. They represent a failed plan to defend and resist without clearly explaining their position. They are content with looking like the bad guys and face public scorn when they don’t realize how important it is to manipulate a clearly left leaning MSM. They represent the failure of the last four years to our own and obstructionists to the opposition. We’ve got to show a new face to the nation. That is the genesis of rebuilding this movement. Ryan or Cantor in the House, Rubio or Demint in the Senate.

We also need a standard bearer and I see no one on the horizon with as much rockstar potential and substance as Rubio. These next four years must put him on the center stage with a unified and consolidated message. It also needs to protect him from the attacks from the left that are guaranteed to come.

Everything the Obamites used to deny, deflect, and difuse will be used againstt hem....including the race card. THAT is what will make Rubio a teflon candidate.

These men represent a change in a party that has been beaten soundly in the last two elections by a charlatan and his traveling circus. A fresh choice in leadership represents change you can TRULY beleive in from every angle. It marks a clear start from inside and outside when we actually started taking this enemy seriously.

GROUND GAME: It is IMPERATIVE to develop and foster an intricate ground game. It requires a MICRO-ANALYSIS of every county, every city, and every early and absentee ballot by demographic to find how how, why, and with what method they voted. The dems have built quite the coalition but it’s a house of cards; it’s a fractured coalition of single issue voters held together by a media-invested hollyweird worshipping demagogue. They can be piecemealed away bitby bit without sacrficing principle.

Give it to the dems on their “community organizing” machine. We don’t need to reinvent that model. We MUST develop our own. One that will INSTILL our principles in a language tailored to the audience. They’ve tailored theirs on the community organizer, we can create ours around the military special operator. This the winning of hearts and minds in our own third world backyard dem strongholds.

This isn’t as difficult as it sounds. It requires a patient and immediate effort that starts with the post election analysis looking not for what we WANT to find, but for the GROUND TRUTH. GROUND TRUTH is REAL INTELLIGENCE not Rovian number-crunching wishful thinking.

It will require an insurgent effort at the ground level. An infiltration into dem areas that we identify are weak or vulnerable to start cutting in to the blue.

The COIN (insurgeny/counterinsurgency)effort would include the identification of these areas, the inflitration of the areas through churches and charitable organizations AND PARTICULARLY THROUGH EDUCATION.

There ARE like thinkers in these communities. How do we find them? Ask Jesse L. Peterson. Ask JC Watts and Herman Cain. They KNOW how to splinter these vulnerable areas off the blue.

The hispanic issue is RIPE for moving into the red. Catholic, family oriented cultures who beleive in being left alone and naturally distrust the government. And they voted Obama? This is the epitome of the single issue voter. the RNC needs to go toe to toe, issue to issue with “the Race” and counter it in that community, in that language, at THAT LEVEL.

Think it can’t be done? SOF has been doing it since the end of World War II. It CAN be done.

WE must get deep into the education system to promote the ideals and values of conservatism that should be selling themselves. I’m not talking about traditional public schools and universities. They are ROTTED with liberals. They also aren’tthe keys to education in the 21st century.

I’m talking about the new way to educate - the online universities, the trade schools and nightschools. Corporate allies need to invest and educate with the ideals of economic and fiscal conservatism.

The RNC needs to lead and develop this effort. A novice like me can see that there is a disconnect between the voting habits of catholic-dominated hispanics and pockets of baptist blacks and their actual stated values. That disconnect can be exploited if it is done slowly, deliberately, and effectively.

INFORMATION WARFARE: We are ATROCIOUS AT THIS. Dems get a simple message out early and often. They poison the well and we are left to change minds rather than get the initial impression right from jump. We constantly play defense and think we are sooooo clever when dems (as they ALWAYS do) do something stupid or illegal and shocked when the media all but ignores it. We must take the offensive in getting up in every Candy Crowley, every George Stepenopolis’ face and call them what they are: democratic hacks posing as the “objective media”

We ABSOLUTELY MUST be proactive. We must attack at EVERY OPPORTUNITY then add each fail of the dems to a trend and theme. These themes must be simple, tailored, and repetitively broadcast to each target demographic.

We must look out beyond the 5 and 10 meter targets. We’ve got to effectively interpret what the dem message is on the horizon and confront it at all levels - from the national MSM level filtering directly down to the target group level. Even I can see what the talking points of the upcoming week are by watching the Sunday talking head programs. Defense is unacceptable. we can’t pretent that the most outrageous comment won’t gain traction then act surprised when weeks later, that theme picks up steam. Attack, attack, attack.

Alinsky tactics must be turned against their masters. There is GREAT power in ridicule and scorn. They make it too easy to use. It needs to be culturally tailored and consistent. Dennis Miller needs his own show on FNC AND a late night show on Fox. Let him source and promote culturally diverse conserative comedians that vulnerable areas can relate to and remember. Bold Fresh tours aren’t enough.

This is only part of an overall information operation plan that is constant in a simple party message and what it means to each target group.

WE DON’T DO THAT WELL. WHY NOT? I find it unbelievable that Obama has hijacked the reputation and imagery of the Party of Lincoln.

COIN operations involve a very in depth understanding of cultural idocyncracies and how best to exploit them to our advantage. It’s not a “wool-over-the-eyes” approach or a “free shit” approach like the dems sell. THAT ALWAYS COMES UP SHORT.

It’s a sell based on how it effects each target group and what it means to them. If it’s done right, I am CONFIDENT that the tenets of conservatism sell themselves.

In Civil Miltary Operations, assistance in areas that seem unrelated builds trust in the agency. Granted, there’s a fine line between assistance and the giving of free shit but, the special operations forces walk that line well. It can be done. Community outreach in areas that we identify, in ways that we haven’t before can build a larger tent without sacrificing our beliefs.

The military has been doing this in third world countries for years. We’ve been more successful in some areas, less successful in others. In the United States third world strongholds of the Democratic Party,I am confident that it can be done.

Here’s the kicker: There are countless retired special operations planners and operators working overseas as contractors RIGHT NOW. It’s too easy; the RNC needs to hire them as contractors over here.

This is, by far, not the only avenue we’ve got to pursue in order to turn the tide.

But, if we are going to war, the RNC must look to the military to rediscover and reorganize. The number-crunching beancounters have their place in the organization but, on their best days, they can only identify who will and won’t vote Republican.

This is a “Hearts and Minds” effort.

It requires a new way to think about the political battlefield.

Rangers Lead the Way.

“We are not about ethnicity, we are driven by ideas. Freedom. Limited government”

Nope.

Show me any other stable nation in the world - ANY one - that is not “about ethnicity”.

Show me one that is not about a common language, common culture, and (dare I say it?), common ethnicity, as well.

Commonalities is what creates and sustains nations.

Diversity is what pulls them apart — hence the term, “Balkanization”.

Americans could believe that we ignored commonality and were instead “driven by ideas, freedom, and limited government” so long as we remained a nation primarily of folks of European descent.

But that is changing, and a consequence of such demographic change is that we now are forced to contemplate that our long-cherished notion that we are a nation of ideas (instead of one of a common people) was just that — notions and dreams that cannot withstand the realities of “diversity”.

As recently as the 1950’s, the importance of a common ethnic makeup was understood by those in positions of power in this nation. We maintained tough immigration policies that were, quite frankly, exclusive and discriminatory. The effect was that our population remained ethnically stable. And our belief system remained intact and unchallenged.

With the immigration reform of 1965, everything changed. Our immigration policy was contorted into an “Alice Through The Looking Glass” paradigm, where people of European descent were now discriminated against, in favor of non-Euros. Therein lies the seeds of the problems that are coming to fruition today.

There was a time in this nation, as recently as the 1950’s, when issues of non-citizens were handled matter-of-factly. Compare Eisenhower’s “Operation Wetback” with Ronald Reagan’s “amnesty”, and you can see where we began to go off track. The very fact that what the Eisenhower administration did then would be seen (not only by the left but also by many members of this forum) as “racist” and “discriminatory” shows that we have moved so “leftward” that it now may be impossible to reverse course again.

Now we not only have removed once and forever any threat of deportation, but we’ll give ‘em free stuff as well!

“Limited government?”
What’s that?

You need someone with the look of JFK, the principles of Ronald Reagan and the verbal dexterity of Newt Gingrich.

The point is that without a change in leadership and a new face of the party, the nations sees the same ol Republican crap. Nothing changes.

To me, it means we need to have a focus on nothing but our fiscal mess and our foreign policies mess or we will not have a country very soon!!!

What is needed is for the Republicans to simply join the Democrats in one huge, monolithic party. Call it the new Republocrat Party—a tent big enough to hold everybody. No more money wasted on elections since we’re just one big happy family; with one great Dear Leader who is half white and half black. It could’t get any better!

“Reaching out” is just a term for “pander” Most of us know why it wouldn’t do any good to “reach out” to women who won’t vote for anything but democrats, welfare checks, abortions and free abortion pills. Then there are the old, retired women like me - many of them, like my sister, accept anything the talking heads on their TV tell them to, in spite of having been raised and educated to know better - that’s the “dumb as a box of rocks” category. I am so disgusted with my own sex, I don’t see how any pandering can overcome the Rat lies and change the so-called minds of any more of them.

And reaching out to youth?? Don’t get me started. Those spoiled, brainless, clueless children have no business voting in the first place, unless they are military, in which case they are not spoiled, etc. We need to “reach” youth by repealing whatever amendment that was (I’m too old to remember and too angry to look it up) that allowed high school children to vote. What can mature adults possibly offer these brats that they haven’t had since birth??

Them’s my only two areas of opinion; I have no idea about blacks (except Are You Kidding?? They got what they wanted) or Latinos - except the few I’ve known were decent, religious Americans, not invaders. Somebody is talking to us about pandering to invaders. Why?
