Somebody has tried to downplay the terror attack in Libya.
If that person is The President then I ask why?
If The President lied, Why would he lie?
Why did he lie?
The same reason a dog........because he can.
There were two reasons to lie. The first is that the Obama regime and Hillary were right in the middle of defending the Muslim Brotherhood, and the regimes romance with Arab Spring. Remember al-Qaeda was supposed to be dead with Osama, and Obama was bragging about being responsible for the deed. All that nonsense from the regime blew up at Benghazi. The other reason was that using the video as an excuse for the terrorism helped the regime lay some of the blame on conservatives and people who don’t buy into the Islam is peace lie. The terrorism became the fault of the people who are critical of this regime’s foreign policy.
Why would he lie? Why did he lie?That's what congenital liars and communists do. Haters hate. Destroyers destroy. Creators create. Builders build. Congenital liars and communists tell lies even when telling the truth would be to their advantage.
It's impossible to plan an attack against a particular person on a particular day at a particular location unless you have a guarantee that person will be at that location on that particular day.
The only people that could guarantee Stevens would be there on that particular day is Hillary and Obama.
That's why they had to create the spontaneous myth. Planning that far in advance means the WH has to be in the loop.
When the spontaneous lie fell through the only alternative was to make it appear as if there was NO connection with the protest in Egypt and the attack.
By continuing to lie and claim it was a spontaneous attack, everyone else continued making the claim there was no connection.
Even if the terrorist had learned of the planned protest in Egypt a week in advance then planned the attack, someone would have had to leak to the terrorist that Stevens would be at that location on that day. In that case fingers would be pointing to leaks coming from Hilly's office.
Spontaneous attack or no connection are their only two options to not be in the loop.
It may not have come down to trading the Blind Sheikh for our Benghazi hostages. I beleive Obama would have reneged on the deal if he could have.
Trouble is.. No one could or did curtail the street thugs and they went too far and killed the hostages.
If only them damn pesky Marines would have obeyed the order to “Stand Down”, them maybe Obama’s plot would have worked.

Yea you're the first. I have an opinion as to why I think he was not forthcoming. I wanted to hear what others had to say. I do hope that is okay with you. =)

4) October surprise of negotiating a trade for our ambassador for the blind sheik
5) using Benghazi as channel to smuggle arms via Turkey to Syrian rebels (defeat of existing Syrian regime to install Muslim Brotherhood)
6) continue talking point that Libya was Obama’s showcase for Muslim Brotherhood
7) show that Al Quaeda had been decimated
8) because he wanted to
9) to divert attention from other illegal activities
10) some of the above

All Marxist/fascist/totalitarian despots lie. Their entire belief system depends on it. If the lie is big enough and often enough, the sheep will meekly follow—right into the slaughter pens.

Cognitive Dissonance - The president had gone to the mideast and charmed them with his eloquence, humility, and moral rectitude, immediately winning them to America’s side and inducing Al-Qaeda to surrender their arms and renounce their centuries-old allegience to radical Islam - when it became obvious that the attacks on our people in Libya were the work of Al-Qaeda terrorists, this simply didn’t fit with Obama’s great diplomatic coup, and so the reality of the attacks had to go.......
