Prince William and Kate Middleton Expecting First Child
ABC NEWS/GMA ^ | 12-3-12

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are expecting their first child, the palace announced today.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the palace said in a statement today. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news."

The duchess was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital today in central London with hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute morning sickness which requires supplementary hydration and nutrients, the palace said.

"As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter," the statement said.

The baby will be the queen's third great-grandchild.

No. The word king was one hateful to the ears of Americans and even founders arguing for a strong executive, like Adams, were decried as monarchists.

Didn’t we fight a war to not hear about this crap?

Well, I think we fought a war to not have THEM telling US how we were to live our lives. Nothing about our being curious about what is going on with them. We fought a war so that we didn't have to pay our taxes for the Royal family without having any say as to how our taxmoney was being spent.

I now have a question for you. If you don't want to hear about this "crap", why did you click onto this article and read it?

Didn’t we fight a war to not hear about this crap

This is so rude~ How can you consider the birth of a child "this crap"? I for one apologize to you, scotsman... there are many, many Americans who rejoice over this news and are very fond of Kate, William, and the new baby~~

“Didn’t we fight a war to not hear about this crap?”

Let’s see—Bill’s granddad Phil is a prince, not a king, with his Dad (Chuck) being a prince as well. Bill’s a princeling and his son will also be a princeling.

If Liz can live another 20+- years, why England could have a princeling to the fifth power, yet another fifth wheel—a 4th generation for the British people to support in a manner to which the royals have become accustomed.

But that’s their call, yup yup. bmw, freedom from this kind of nonsense was definitely worth fighting for, keeping in mind our own `king’ & his `queen’ and their retinue. And the Bushes.

Anything that may keep that demented whack-job Charlie from claiming the crown. The British Monarchy would surely never recover.

Actually two wars and we still have to hear about it on a daily basis.
