Cain tops Chambliss

Herman Cain would crush Sen. Saxby Chambliss in a Republican primary if the pizza mogul were to run in 2014, according to a poll released Tuesday. Cain led Chambliss (R-Ga.) 50 percent to 36 percent in a survey from Public Policy Polling.

Bingo! on all that. Agree strongly, strongly enough to have the cancelled check and picture with Herman to prove it. Wish he had toughed it out in the primary process.

>>I followed news about the bimbo eruptions closely when Cain was in the run. I have not seen a shred of evidence of adultery. Friendly flirting is not adultery. It is a norm in corporations.

I think it quite likely that what we saw was some combination of that, him bumping into Northeastern feminazis for the first time, and sexual harassment gold diggers.

Yes, Cain could win the Primary election... but what about the General election? That’s what I care about.

Bimbogate got to Cain through his wife. It’s quite likely the allegations were vastly overblown if not total nonsense. But she was upset and he didn’t want to put her through that grinder.

No analogous situation existed for Bill Clinton.

In the secular world it isn’t, but Christian standards of conduct beg to differ. Not as though his enemies had the slightest care for Christianity.

I live in GA. Saxby Chambliss is a POS that definitely needs to retire.

Cain either couldn't control himself, or caved under false and easily refuted accusations. If it's the former, then no thanks.

If it's the latter, then I'll chalk his giving up to inexperience campaigning in the public spotlight and gladly support him.

I hope and pray it's the latter, because we need real Conservatives now more than ever.

As it is, Mr. Cain is set to replace Mr. Boortz next year.

I really like Herman Cain. Fresh ideas, a smart man, God-fearing and a sense of humor. Reminds me one one of my first bosses. He was never afraid to get his hands dirty and always worked the problems. An infectious positive attitude. Herman has those same qualities.

I wish him well.

I don’t lie. I just said I believed the story....be it true or a lie in actuality

And if it is a fact it does not modify my admiration of Cain.

Likewise. I still have the pin from that race. Pointed it out to Herman when he was doing a meet and greet before the state convention in Macon in 2011. Told him “Some of us aren’t Johnny-come-lately Herman Cain supporters” while pointing at my lapel. He liked that quite well.

If I lived in Ga. I’d vote for him. If I lived in Illinois, I’d vote for him several times.

That is exactly my conclusion. Cain’s wife was quite disturbed with the attacks on her husband. All her life she had seen her husband help scores of people. So she must have been confused and perturbed with all those allegations — ORIGINATING WITH CHICAGO CONNECTION...every one of them!
