Adam Lanza's hard drive, which was found destroyed in his Connecticut home, may be beyond repair police say, leaving them at a loss to explain the shooter's motive.
When police first discovered the tainted hard drive, they believed that it could serve as a key piece of evidence in discovering why a 20-year-old man would terrorize an elementary school filled with children. It appears, however, that the shooter did not want his motive unveiled.
"The computer's hard drive appeared to have been badly damaged with a hammer or screw driver," law enforcement authorities told ABC News on Monday. Two other sources reported to a local Connecticut paper that the hard drive had been in pieces.
"He was eliminating [investigators'] ability to figure out what websites he had gone to or who he might have been communicating with," one investigator told Yahoo.
The little information that police do have confirms that Lanza was an avid player of violent video games.

I either own an LH-cooled magnet or the 100 lb.-pull retrieving magnet I use to find nails in the grass is strong enough to nuke a flash chip.
I took an old 512 MB thumb drive with a few hundred pictures outside to test the theory (after I backed up those pictures).
Regardless of OS or machine, that USB thumb drive showed up as unformatted and would not format with anything (ext3/4, NTFS, FAT32, FAT).
The authorities also took the BROTHERS computer!!!

I read in another article that he had been on meds since he was 10 years old (per someone who used to babysit him). I want to know what and why. Also, that they were never to let him out of their sight, not even for a minute.

BTW, I had a dust-up with a Hartford Courant investigative reporter about 10 years ago due to his lies about republican positions. His boss supported him 120% even though I was correct.
Well, we do know that the NSA/FBI have programs where the harvest every byte of data that travels across the internet, so somebody will know what this kid was doing. The actually store everything that crosses the wires, and can go back, and forensically extract particular people’s data as necessary. Ask Gen. Petreus(sp?) about it. They have systems which are connected at the main hubs of the internet, and NOTHING passes through the pipes without them keeping a copy.

I’m no sure he visited to any social media sites. They guy was a complete recluse. He didn’t like contact with people. Seems he just locked himself in his room and played violent video games day and night, and his Mom, for reasons I will never understand, indulged her mentally unstable son in this behavior which is unhealthy for even for sane person.
