The Obama Left's stupidity and hatred cannot be underestimated. This moron says that if you buy a gun company and then kill it, all the guns the company produced will disappear. Never heard of competition. Never heard of another company then producing the same or similar product and selling it instead. Thinks anyone who works for a gun company deserves to be out of work. I believe Bushmaster is the sole supplier to the military for a number of weapons. The most well known being the 25mm cannon which can be found on Bradleys, LAVs, and naval vessels,incl IIRC, the new littoral warfare ships. So I suppose Obama could demand a stoppage of manufacturing ARs or the Pentagon will get its 25s from China.

I have a better idea. Only a liberal would suggest buying a going concern and then throwing it in the trash can. I would like to see some true patriots propose a public solicitation for investors to buy the company out. If things continue the way they are headed, we are going to need our own company. DiFi’s new “assault weapons” ban bill will classify all AR-15’s/AK-47’s, etc. as Class III weapons (fully automatic) and requiring registration and a $200 tax. Also allows the ATF to inspect your home anytime they want for anything they want. You give up 4th amendment rights.

If you don’t register yours, ATF will be going to all “assault weapons” manufacturers, getting serial numbers, contacting dealers who legally sold such weapons, getting names/addresses of all legal purchaser’s (as they now do when investigating a weapon used in a crime), and paying them a visit to see if they still have them.

I.E. - you are screwed.

So even if you don’t comply with registering - you are dead.

We have to fight this bill like it’s our last stand. Because it very well may be.

Oh - and if this law passes, all manufacturers that specialize in AR-15 format weapons will be immediately put out of business.

Bushmaster the company does not manufacture the Bushmaster auto cannon you describe. They only make rifles and pistols - the Bushmaster cannon was designed by what was McDonnell Douglas and is produced by Alliant Techsystems (ATK).

Was I suggesting that anyone should comply if it does pass? No.

If you own a gun company and they want to buy you out and are willing to offer a premium, take it! Then move across the street, rehire all the gun manufacturing employees that got laid off, buy brand new equipment, hang out a shingle and call yourself Bushmaster II, or Bushmonster, or SmarterThanRichLibs Inc!
