(Vanity) Flipping channels between C-Span waiting for the Republicans to keep Boehner as Speaker
Posted on 01/03/2013 9:31:18 AM PST by jakerobins
John Boehner looks too calm and resolved. The other Republicans don't appear to be coming together trying to get a group to vote against "Cry baby" Boehner. I think the Fix is in folks we are about to be "Lead" by the Doormat until he can hand the gavel over to Pelosi......

Somewhere in Hawaii the Commie Barry is eating a sno-cone and laughing. He made the Republicans vote on a bill that raises taxes now he will steamroll them into voting for his entire agenda. (Because bi-partisanship means Republicans give up) Expect little to no resistance in the next 2 years and a Republican blood bath in 2014.....

At the current rate it looks like 20 conservatives will not vote for Boehner.

As expected Boehner was the only Republican name up for nomination! The Democrat mob erupted with glee at the nomination of Pelosi
They nominate an UBER-LIB and are filled with glee. GOPe nominates Boehner and there are calls for a coup. That fact alone confirms that there IS NO SECOND PARTY right now.

It also confirms we are living under a dictatorship with a “rubber stamp” congress.

As an out-going member not being elected to the new Congress, for West to recieve any votes is a great honor. I hope it gets some mention in the press as a very rare occurance.

for West to recieve any votes is a great honor I suppose.
I like West but don't really know why there is any faith in him for Speaker when he can't even hang onto his seat?
Did he ever even sponsor any legislation?
To: Triple
Halfway thru and Boehner slightly more than half the votes needed.

I predict that when it becomes mathematically impossible for Pelosi to win that the rest of the democrats will vote for Boehner. It will be an ultimate dirty trick.

Depends on whether any Dems vote for him.
Also, those Pubbies voting to abstain are frauds. By not voting for another person, they are lowering the threshold for Boehner to win, while looking as if somehow they really opposed his winning.
To: 50mm
that will just be further proof of the one party system we have now...
