Why Obama will be dead weight for Democrats in 2014
American Thinker ^ | 03/11/2013 | Rick Moran

Good article by Alex Isenstadt in Politico on why Democrats will try to distance themselves from President Obama in 2014.

Almost all the competitive House races are in GOP-leaning districts where Obama's name and agenda are not very popular:

To net 17 seats and flip the chamber, Democrats have to win predominantly on GOP turf, in districts that Mitt Romney won and where Obama and his agenda are unpopular. A number of Democrats made clear in interviews that the more partisan posture Obama has adopted over the past few months -- particularly on cultural issues like gun control, and to a lesser extent on immigration and gay marriage -- is making an uphill slog that much steeper.

"I think the tone coming out of the White House ... could probably be more conciliatory," said Jim Graves, a Minnesota Democrat who nearly knocked off Rep. Michele Bachmann last year in a suburban Twin Cities district where Obama barely eclipsed 40 percent.

Graves, who's girding for a rematch against Bachmann next year, added, "There's no question -- Obama has taken a fairly liberal tack in his second term. But I'm not here for the president. I'm here for the people of the 6th Congressional District."

Arkansas Democratic state Sen. Bruce Maloch said he's considering running for a House seat that tilts heavily Republican. But he, too, is worried about the opposition tying him to a White House that has pivoted left since November.

"I'm an Arkansas Democrat," Maloch said. "I would probably not go as far as the president on some of those issues."

Just imagine how toxic Obama will be once Obamacare is implemented.

The Baraqqi Coalition is bringing huge money attempting to get Nancy back at the controls. And of course per the MSM, the economy is fantastic, we’ll be out of Afghanistan, etc.

And every GOP House candidate should be SHOUTING the following from the mountaintops every day:

"Remember, if you elect my Democrat opponent, the FIRST vote he/she will cast will be for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker."

I hope they bankrupt themselves trying to get more leftists in the house. It would be great to see SEIU brought to its knees financially.

BS!! The leftists tried distancing themselves from him last year because NONE of them have the courage to look America in the eye and admit they supported zero 100%.

Since they couldn’t run on their records, all they could do was manipulate or manufacture negative information against their ‘Pubbie opponent, a tactic that worked in most cases.

Until we wake up and stop listening to a politician’s words and pay more attention to their actions, nothing in our government will change. Every 2 years we will complain about the leftists and RINOs, then turn around and dutifully go to the voting booth to reelect them. Then, we will go back to complaining about them.

We’re locked in an endless loop of repeating the same behaviors and I see no end in sight. When WE don’t demand better candiddates and WE don’t demand better representation and WE don’t demand that our elected representatives adhere to the Constitution and the rule of law, WE get the mess we have today.

With all due respect, I would bet that most of Zer0 voters have never even heard of Nancy Pelosi, let alone know what her position in the govt is.

Heck, they wouldn't have any idea what "the speaker of the house" does.....

....and couldn't name him now under pain of death.

There's no question -- Obama has taken a fairly liberal tack in his second term.

That is probably the hugest understatement in the history of mankind.

I have often found articles on American Thinker to be overly optimistic. Reality check - the people of Detroit consistently voted for Dem leadership for 47 years and are still doing so in the face of near total destruction of that city. Conclusion? Some people really do never, never learn. Obama voters are in that category. Please file that fact away before writing future articles.

And the sad thing is, most libs think he’s still not “liberal” enough. Sickening.

Unless we clean up Obama's corruption, it won't happen.

First watch 8 minutes 16 seconds of video titled Romney defeated Obama - if not for voter fraud.

Then ... read and think about this.

" Some people really do never, never learn."

Well maybe. You might consider that 'it is the economy' and they remember that Democrats are more concerned with providing aid in bad times.

One of the real challenges is that most of the super wealthy have teamed up with the Dems.
Soros, Google boys, Buffett, etc.
