No kidding. How the tables have turned: Team GOP has a whole roster of savvy, fresh-faced up-and-comers, while the Democrats’ bench is looking decidedly less dynamic and their best bets lying in generation old school. That’s not to say another super-candidate couldn’t come out of the woodwork somewhere between now and the next campaign cycle, but it looks like the top tier currently consists of Clinton and Joe Biden — and if I were a Democrat, I would be leaning heavily on Hillary. The last election made me wary of dismissing or underestimating anyone, but when I try to imagine Joe Biden fronting a presidential campaign… my only conscious thought is that of a vague, indefinable buzzing inside my ears.

I think itll be unimaginable. I mean, if I just go around the country and if theres a Democrat that does not want her to run, I have not met them. Now she is her own person and seems perfectly willing to resist that kind of pressure, but in terms of encouragement, I dont think theres ever been anybody that is a prohibitive front-runner for a partys nomination as former Secretary of State Clinton is right now. You can feel it out there wherever I go and whenever people talk to me, its the same thing.
She will be too old. She is not in shape and her health won’t hold up.
Remember the squawking about Ronald Reagan’s age. Hillary will be seventy in 2016-older than President Reagan was in 1980. Why no concerns, Liberals?
Ronald Reagan never had a stroke and didn’t have a family history of strokes either, unlike Hillery.
“Heard that daugther is looking to adopt a child from Rush”
So is she getting a kid from Geddy, Alex, or Neil? ;)
Much like the ‘pressure’ her frame exerts on the mumus she’d been wearing all over the world as America’s answer to foreign diplomacy?
They’re gonna have to suck out a lot of fat (a lot) and stretch a lot (a lot) of skin. Hair dye, makeover’s body sculpting etc. She’s got to look slick (articulate, finely creased pantsuits, etc.) Otherwise, she’s just a fat old white woman (even though a socialist) with a bad attitude and a menopausal temper that would deck a rhino.
Hillary will be rolling in money and her appeal to women and Hispanics will far exceed that of Obama. When you look at the electoral map, Hillary and the Dems start out with a huge advantage and with another four years of demographic change, there is no way she will lose.
Dream on. We have reached a tipping point in our electoral process. Any Dem nominee will win the Presidency in 2016. Records and performance no longer matter. Tribal politics and low information voters will make the Dems the permanent majority party.
The pressure on my stomach to forcibly and repeatedly evacuate itself in 2016 will be “unimaginable”.
I had no idea that Rush has a child that he is putting up for adoption.
Hillary’s mother lived to be 92.
If she is even still mobile by then, she will be the democrats’ equivalent to Sarah.
I don’t think the libs will want to deal with her health issues or Benghazi. She has to much baggage, but as stupid as they are.....you might be right.
Just speculation on my part, but I think her health issues are more serious than what we are being told. The media will do their best to hide her true condition, but if she has some type of episode in a public setting, they won't be able to gloss over it. I'm thinking John Kerry might decide to make another run for the White House in 2016.
Too, if she has a penchant for heavy drinking as is rumored, that won't help matters either.
I see a 3-way shootout with Hillary, SlowJoe, and Cuomo with Hillary scoring an early knockout.
We’ve got to get Bloomie to run as an independent, then we have a good shot at a plurality win. (Anybody comment on the personal dynamics between Bloomie and the Clintons?)
Otherwise in a 2-way I think the demographic tide mean she wins.
