I once had a Samoyed who was afraid of lightening. He would trash EVERYTHING when there was a storm.

We had a (mixed breed) dog like that...he even ate holes in the sheet rock.

And I may prefer the movie “The Wizard of Oz” (1925) over the book, even though the story is completely different.

I've never read the book so I'm good. LOL

Some of Preston-the-Samoyed’s “Achievements”:

Jumped through a screen door at the sound of firecrackers (destroying the screen and the frame).

Chewed through a leather sofa. (I reupholstered it myself, burning out my industrial sewing machine).

Chewed Right through a 2 x 4.

Knocked over a 1965 Gibson Custom SG Electric Guitar, breaking the headstock right off...cost $350.00 to repair, and for the first time, it actually stayed IN TUNE for an entire gig!

Ate an entire bottle of 50 10mg Valium tablets, and was hospitalized for three days in a coma (never was too bright to begin with, but after that experience, he was just plain DUMB!)

He did, however, redeem himself during the Great Blizzard of 78. I hitched him up to a Flexible Flyer Sled and we delivered milk to folks who couldn’t leave their homes because of the snow.

My next dag after Preston was a MALTESE! LOL!

ROTFLOL

I don’t think I can beat that, although our wonderful dog did break a bottle of bleach and apparently drank some...guess not enough to hurt him cause he was ok.

we have our son’s dog, a smallish mixed boxer, female and smarter than all the male dogs we’ve had.

How any dog could get bleach past his NOSE is a wonder.

The two female doggies i have had were MUCH smarter than either of the males, But they were a border collie mix and a Black lab mix, so there is no contest. LOL!

Good morning, Idaho...((HUGS))...we are supposed to have at least a weeks worth of high 30s and low 40s during the day...but still freezing at night. I’m hoping spring is finally on its way.

Hope your temps get to work on that 4 feet.
