Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from sin and set us free. Amen!

For the sake of all that Your Son, Jesus Christ purchased for us through His death on the Cross; for the cause of the Resurrection whereby we may live with Christ throughout eternity, we ask You to lead us to repentance and restore us to right standing as a nation before You. Grant our military men and women the courage to defend America and to continue the work You have set before them. For the sake of all those who have died for the cause of America, we pray for Your mercy and Your deliverance. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, Lord save us from ourselves. Amen to your Prayer for Our American Heroes and For Our Nation.
Heavenly Father,
We lift up our brave troops and their families, asking for protection, guidance, wisdom and blessing upon blessing. Meet every need they many have and bring them home safely and quickly. Heal any wounds that they may have; physical, mental, emotional, financial....May they feel appreciated and loved for their great sacrifice.
Thank You for the Founding Fathers who established a nearly foolproof system of government; its checks and balances are among the most noteworthy aspects of our republic. Our executive, legislative, and judicial branches, when functioning as they were designed, champion our liberties and prevent our government from becoming tyrannical and oppressive. By and large, however, the American people are sadly uninformed about democratic principles and their role in safeguarding our freedoms. What’s more, the clearly defined lines between the three branches of government are becoming blurred and United States citizens are paying the price. We pray that You God protect our way of life, and would embed men and women in office who are committed to serving their constituents with integrity. We also pray for our elections, beseeching You God, to prompt our fellow citizens to become involved in this process. Voting is both a duty and a privilege, and the outcomes of our political races are critical in determining the future course of our nation. Keep election free from fraud, corruption and theft. When voting, may people look for a person with integrity and godly values and understand the grave mistake of electing a person because of their popularity, personal gain or politics.
May Your hand of wisdom and guidance remain upon each segment of our society, and through Your Spirit, may believers be inspired to “pray continually” We are assured that You, Almighty God, hears our petitions. As people from coast to coast lift their voices in prayer, repentance and humility, we simply cannot underestimate how You, Lord will respond. Let all people come together come before Your throne with wisdom and these words on our lips and in our hearts, “God bless America!” God to grant our leaders, as well as the judges in our courts. to act with integrity.Please remove anyone who is corrupt, dishonest or worse.

The country called the USA is unique in that it has become so disunited. Normally “nations” as known in the bible had a pretty strong sense of spiritual brotherhood. Selling a few people of a nation on a faith usually resulted in selling most of them. This sort of brotherhood is lacking here today.
