After hitting an oil spot on my bike and bouncing off the asphalt a few times, I had to spend a few hours in the ER last night - where the TV was set to MSNBC. I was forced to listen to O'Donnell, Hayes and Maddow for parts of all of their shows. These people are bizarre. Yes, I knew from sound bytes and clips from Newsbusters that they were, but when forced to listen for a couple hours straight, as I was, their mental illness really hits a new perspective.
Their view of the world is some sort of dark fantasy, and their understanding of what makes us tick is just absurd.
What really struck me is how the liberals are suddenly such big fans of cops, of the police being brutal and having military style arms, and of blind allegiance to government.
It's really stunning how these liberals have totally neutralized decades of suspicion of authority simply because "the one" is now in charge. It is other-planetary. Maddow for example thinks the NRA wants to declare war on the USA, and that the USA will go in with Stealth bombers and ICBMs and take out neighborhoods of NRA members. She really does.
Anyway, I had to vent to some reasonable folks after seeing this. The ER, as you might expect, was filled with what looked like Obama Phone customers. I just had to sit there in my physical pain and endure this mental and emotional pain last night....and wanted to share! :)
You should sue the hospital for cruel and inhuman treatment

My God, man, that’s pure torture! If you reallly want to punish yourself, you should watch MSLSD on the weekend, Melissa Harris-Perry is a real nutcase!

Thanks for the report from the dark side. Last time I was in an emergency room here in Texas, they had the CNN channel set to Spanish language. I just sat there in pain and fuming mad too. There were not that many Spanish people even in the waiting room. It really irked me.
Thank God I only had Maddow for about 30 minutes. Had Hayes for the full load, and O’Donnell for about half an hour. O’Donnell might have been the worst of all. But they were all frightening. They are all such infantile thinkers, so arrogant and yet so ignorant. Pseudo intellectuals on display.
My wife, who owns several guns, threatend to shoot the TV at one point in O’Donnells’ NRA rant....
As a fellow bicyclist, I have been where you were myself. Hope the road rash and skin left behind aren’t too serious.
As for MSNBC, start carrying a MP3 so that you can listen to podcasts and music instead of that mind-destroying babble. I do know that many of the places I frequent are starting to carry Fox News but then again I live in a conservative area.
Thank you for bringing an empathetic smile to my face this morning. I don’t have cable and can’t get FoxNews. So I watched Good morning america once. Can’t believe I watched it for years many decades ago.
My mind wandered and wished Sarah Palin would have her own show. What a boost that would be in the morning.

Maybe they thought you hit your head on the pavement and had brain damage. That’s the only way somebody could watch MSLSD and think they’re being informed.

I d agree with you about them, I have watched tem for about 10 mins here and there flicking through channels and they are whacked out and I mean really whacked out of this earth.
They just see the world as another planet, they can’t seem to grasp the basic concept of the world and live in some la la land.
I’m not surprised you are doing a vanity on this as it shocks me too that people like them are out there but even worse they have a microphone
