After hitting an oil spot on my bike and bouncing off the asphalt a few times, I had to spend a few hours in the ER last night - where the TV was set to MSNBC. I was forced to listen to O'Donnell, Hayes and Maddow for parts of all of their shows. These people are bizarre. Yes, I knew from sound bytes and clips from Newsbusters that they were, but when forced to listen for a couple hours straight, as I was, their mental illness really hits a new perspective.
Their view of the world is some sort of dark fantasy, and their understanding of what makes us tick is just absurd.
What really struck me is how the liberals are suddenly such big fans of cops, of the police being brutal and having military style arms, and of blind allegiance to government.
It's really stunning how these liberals have totally neutralized decades of suspicion of authority simply because "the one" is now in charge. It is other-planetary. Maddow for example thinks the NRA wants to declare war on the USA, and that the USA will go in with Stealth bombers and ICBMs and take out neighborhoods of NRA members. She really does.
Anyway, I had to vent to some reasonable folks after seeing this. The ER, as you might expect, was filled with what looked like Obama Phone customers. I just had to sit there in my physical pain and endure this mental and emotional pain last night....and wanted to share! :)
I saw those show, and LO'D saying the NRA is talking about using their guns on police hero's who stopped those two in Boston. Yep, NRA is the terrorists to them.
One other message you may have missed in that:
That since the US government has such superior firepower over us then that is a reason for strict gun control laws to take our guns away from us for our own good, because resistance is futile. Its for our own good after all.
One of my prime uses for the Bose headphones is when I am forced to sit in an airport...the phones allow me to tune out CNN (possibly, the only place where that silly network is actually tuned in).

You hit the nail on the head. So-called traditional "liberalism/socialism/any other ism's", always seemed to portray some type of anti-regiman/anti-government/anti-authority, etc. However as you pointed out, now that they have their "savior" barack 0dumb0 and control of pretty much all gubmint agencies, now these same liberals just LOVE heavy handed police-state militarism & absolute totalitarian government in which no dissent (at least from conservatives, Christians, pro-lifers, pro-tradtional family & marriage) is tolerated. In fact if you want to get your head bounced a few times by thugish cops, just try to advocate & protest in favor of any of these conservative positions.
It seems that every time there is police action for some incident, all of a sudden there are dozens of heavily armed, military style, flak jacket, heavily booted SWAT style police & armed assult vehicles. WTH! Where did these things come from in the last 4 years? Obviously this is the civilian military force, better armed & supplied that barack 0dumb0shit proclaimed in July of 2008 at a political rally in Colorado.
Surprisingly enough, even a libturd radical like Bill Mahrer is starting to speak out against the massive presence of military police-state tactics.
No doubt.....the biggest danger that America faces right now is from a military, police-state government!
ban those pesky bicycles and those lanes where they never seem to use them and block the bleeding road.
Tongue in cheek comment before I get pounced on by one of the spandex wearing, helmet, shoulder, knee , elbow pad wearing gang
"Sophomoric" is the best word to describe them.
My sincere condolences. Being forced to watch MSNBC is among a very few things I imagine to be more painful than putting a bike down and bouncing off the pavement. I would demanded a change of channel or else a pair of earplugs and some codeine.
The only liberal I can stand to watch on cable news is Anderson Cooper. I don’t agree with him, but I can actually watch him when I am at the gym.
I don’t have anything against Erin “the throat” Burnett but her guest are Looney tunes.
What was really maddening is how they couched LaPierre’s comments about folks in Boston “wishing they’d had guns” a few weeks ago. They went off on this rant about how having guns would have done nothing at the bombing scene. They went on and on about that, never understanding that what LaPierre meant is during the four days of manhunt.....what a bunch of idiots they are.
IS that the one that declared “All your kids belong to the collective”?
I really think a handsome cop could have turned Maddow straight for a few hours last night...she was all hot to trot about well armed cops.
LOL - I hate “pesky” cyclists who act like another vehicle on the road...I ride side roads and greenways.....avoid vehicle traffic in about 99% of my route!
There were about 6-8 lo fo’s there watching intently and eating it up - and they were there ahead of us. Like I said, the ER was def a dem precinct last night.
You hit the nail on the head.
Was in a doctor’s office recently. They had PMSNBC on. It really aggrevated me so I got up and asked the beefy receptionist lady if she would change it. She was a bit surprised, but conceded. She turned it to the Ellen Show.
Oh, I got my fill of her. They ran many promo’s of her show - featuring sound bytes of her blather.....
I can assure you that I am dumber for having been exposed to it.....
I think Larry O'D spent more than 5 minutes maybe 10 alone on the fact that the police asked Boston citizens to hide in their homes instead of ordering them to, as if that made LaPierre’s arguments any less relevant.
And parr for the course he blamed the NRA on the death of that police officer.
I watch those shows to see what they are up to. Notice Bengazi cover-up breakthroughs are not known to any of the hosts from a viewers perspective althought that might change.
