Thoughts on Benghazi from a long time Freeper.

The Big Picture
Obama is almost certainly deep in debt to the Saudis. The Saudis are battling Iran for control of the Middle East, North Africa. So we are backing the Saudis against Iran, Al Quida and other militant Shiite groups. Why we care about the Saudis, other than oil, is a mystery to me, but we have been backing the Saudis long before Obama took office. (It should be noted that were the Saudis to stop accepting US dollars for oil, the world would have little use for US dollars. )

What is Missing From This Picture.
Now here is where things get confusing. Who would want to kill Ambassador Stevens? Stevens was our point man in helping Libya over throw Gaddafi, surely that earned him a great deal of good will with local militia. Also it has been reliably reported that Stevens was arming rebels in Syria. Should Syria fall it opens the door to the Muslim Brotherhood. Bad for the USA and bad for Israel. But who in Benghazi would want him dead? Whoever is responsible for the attack must have had a great deal of influence, since the militia guarding him abandoned him and the militia manning the check points allowed the attackers freedom of movement. Pulling that attack off requires a great deal of planning and cooperations amongst several different militia groups. I have also read that the mortar fire at the annex was very accurate which indicates planning. I am still curious about why the mortar stopped after killing the two navy seals? Perhaps the story about illuminating the mortar position via laser is true.

Some claim the idea was not to kill him but to kidnap him. If so why attack the annex after Stevens was known to be dead? Were there a lot of arms at the annex? Was it the same attackers that killed Stevens that attacked the annex? Something is missing from this story that would explain the nights events. I have watched just about everyone dance around the question of why our consulate and annex were attacked and why our ambassador was murdered.

Questions That Need an Answer
After 911 is was SOP for the Bush administration to go on heightened security on the anniversary of 911, why in the world would we not be on heightened security? Someone had to reverse the Bush policy on 911. Who and why?

I would also like a “who and why” on over all security at Benghazi after repeated warning and requests.

Most of all I want a “who and why” on why no military action was undertaken. No one knew how long the firefight at the annex would last so why was no action taken? To me that is the “off with their head” question.

I don't need a why on the cover up, that is perfectly clear, but I would like a “who” or more correctly lots of whos. Did Susan Rice know the “talking points” were BS? We at FR knew it, did she? Clearly Hillary knew and Obama must have know too. Did Jay Carry know he was lying to the American people?

And lastly why has it been American policy ever since Bush 1 to carry water for the Saudis? There is lots of oil in this world. We don't need Saudi oil we need a sane energy policy of Drill Baby Drill.

Feel free to add to this list of questions if you think I've missed some. Also feel free to try and answer some if you are knowledgeable.

First you must understand that not all Muslims, Arab muslims, are radical wackos. You speak of Saudis but whole the GCC is at stake. Starting at the top, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain,Qater, UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) and Oman make up the GCC. They are building modern societies that are Islamic but not wacko radical. The stand at the cross roads between east and west trade lanes and are prospering. The tallest building in the world is in Dubai.

Although Saudi Aramco owns the oil, American firms still have a presence and are good customers.

The GCC is a good customer for American products. The GCC is a success at coming together whereas Europe’s effort seem to be failing.

Iraq will join that group eventually when the internals are sorted out. The transformation like the Royal Saudi Commission on Yanbu and Jubail will come to Iraq an Bashra will blossom and be transformed. (It was run by Americans and American firms did a lot of the work)

Syria is the Iranian surrogate evil doer. Assad must be removed from Syria and Syria removed as the Iranian surrogate. Iran must be isolated. Iran wants Mecca.

We are not involved in the Syria war because it has been cedec to the GCC (Arab League) and Turkey. The going is slow but there is progress. Remember, there are Saudi and Qatari Special Forces that have been trained by us. They are certainly in Syria with a hand in the command. BTurkey, Qater and Saudi Arabia all have air forces. If there was a need, they can and will engage.

Unknown is the cooperation between the IAF and the above noted coalition. There is certainly some collaboration on the strategic level.

Never mentioned is the strong, the ruling Islamic faction. They are the business class, the money, the industry, the politics. They chose to tolerate the Brotherhood and allow them to carry on much the same was as organized labor is. They bitch and moan and demonstrate but do not achieve real power. That is Egypt. They think they got the power but really did not. The man speaks but doesn’t act.

George Bush was the enabler. He played fruit basket turnover in Iraq. He changed the game that was being played. With Saddam gone, a great obstacle to peace was removed. There were not two wars, there was only one but with a 10 year slow down.

Finally, the GCC is our friend. Iran is not.

For years, the Saudis have cultivated relationships in Washington -- big and small.

Think the millions they have invested in Jimmy Carter and his foundation. Plus, the millions they have invested in Bill Clinton and his foundation. In addition, they own numerous "small players"...like Joe Wilson, e.g.

The Saudis are a lobby! -- a very large and wealthy lobby. Whomever they want, they buy.

True. We don't need Saudi oil anymore. In fact, we never did use much of it. But the rest of the world does...and we're committed to see that they get it "at market prices".

But the Saudi influence remains embedded in our system.

I haven’t been able to read everything but why was Stevens in an barely protected compound in Benghazi on 9/11. Why would he leave Tripoli on the most dangerous day of the year.

JSM is getting to the point. Most folks have no clue because they choose to NOT read history. Standard Oil was the entity that controlled Saudi Arabia once it set up oil wells there.

The House of Saud, along with others like the UAE, etc., is the vassal of the most powerful financial interests that actually run the world from a diplomatic, financial, political and intelligence perspective.

Diplomatic control is accomplished through the RIIA in the UK and the CFR in the US; sort of "clubs" one must be a member of to rise to any high diplomatic position. Oddly, the key members, of course, are from the financial community. Penny Pritzker, for example, is not just a member of CFR, but she actually sits on its board. Equally oddly are those CFR people who are heavyweights in news media. CFR thinking forms the "conventional wisdom" that is passed on to the State Dept and the President; CFR and State have had a virtual revolving door since the inception of CFR shortly after WWI. Prior to Obama being elected, a CFR author actually write a book outlining the agenda for "the next President". Thus, CFR would have insinuated itself once again as the guide for Romney, Obama or whoever was elected President in 2008.

These financial interests had their own operatives start up the OSS which became the CIA. The Dulles brothers were longtime operatives working for Wall Street prior to their OSS/CIA careers. The CIA allows for secrets to be kept as "state secrets". It has had, in the past, documented operations that would make your head spin; one of these included (admitted under oath in Congressional testimony) that they administered LSD to their own people without their knowledge. Nice people. One must understand, of course, that only a fair number of the top leadership of CIA need to be controlled by these "financial interests" in order to effectively control the whole thing. It would be preposterous to try to control an entire organization.

Of course the CIA deals with all sorts of nefarious characters as part of the mandate that was given to it at its creation. Some of those characters can have dealings with the same powerful financial interests via "rogue" banks and billionaires that operate transationally. If the financial interests want an operation done, they can tell their CIA guys to do part of the plan and their rogue "mystery operatives" to do another part of the plan, and the two sets of operatives don't need to have any communication or coordination with each other. And then the CIA operatives will think they have the whole plan - and they don't even know the "external" part of the plan so they can't even accidentally divulge it. Ask yourself why Marc Rich got a Presidential pardon (well, you'll have to read an in-depth bio on him to understand just how outrageous that is, the man is the roguest of the rogue arms dealing, money laundering, etc. kind of guy). A pardon is not given to a guy like that (who can't even come back into the US) just for campaign contributions.

Long story short, jihadis are tools used by the real power interests. Once again, every jihadi does NOT have to be controlled - just a very few jihadi leaders; it's real simple. Amazing what bags of cash, money laundering, offshore corporations, free villas, secret political support, etc. can accomplish.

Ambassador Stevens was just a minion; if the real power people wanted him dead it would have been done as a simple murder, accident, suicide, etc. This has been done many, many times.

Since the embassy was attacked by the jihadi tools, you can rest assured the powers that be wanted the show.

Other embassies had "shows" that day, but there was no complete overrun with the Ambassador winding up dead.

Leads me to believe that this "show" had the intent of grabbing this Ambassador. He was even "smoked out". They could have blown the building to bits, but they didn't. They lit a smokey fire.

The compound was left with its pants down in preparation.

After 6+ hours, the command and control (financial interests OUTSIDE the US government) for the "show" realized that the ambassador died. And, the US gov't minions had, according to plan, held back all rescue support. Now, with the US gov't minions going to have to explain WHY they held back rescue support, the command and control did not want to have the trained, experienced holdouts to be able to testify as to how many times they called for help - it would be very damning testimony and they would be front and center and they would keep repeating "chain of command", which we all know leads to the immediate advisors to the President and the President. Those people would have to testify and somehow cover for the real command and control. The command and control, realizing this and needing to remain hidden in plain sight, then gave the order to finish the holdouts off.

Obama the Undocumented Tyrant expected a “two-fer” in
treason.

1) Transfer the 20,000 MANPADs+ to al Qaeda

and

2) Get the Ambassador taken, so as to TRADE for the
blind sheik with Egypt.

By most accounts there was heightened security during the 9/11/2011 anniversary. Not so much for 9/11/2012.

The problem -- and the culpability -- may have been in not bringing the Benghazi consulate up to shape in terms of security, rather than in changing general operating procedures at all embassies.

Well, if you think about it, weapons transfers are best done without attracting attention with an embassy attack.

Aside from that, the weapons transfers had already been reported in the news media months before the attack.

If I can read it in the news, it’s not a secret any more.

Also, there was no need to trade the blind shake.

All that would have to happen is have a high level meeting where the US apoligized for it’s “wrongdoing”.

In that case, jihadists win bigtime, Obama wins bigtime, big financial powers win bigtime because it’s paving the way for mainstreaming islam in the US.

Why was Stevens in Benghazi? Why was the Turkish Ambassador in Benghazi?

There was to be an arms transfer the night of 9/11, a paid for arms transfer. Somebody decided it'd be more fun to grease the messenger boy bag man for Hillary - Stevens and just take the stuff. F em if they can't take a joke.

A rescue operation would have brought in too many snoopy "folks" who weren't in on the deal. Imagine being some Army colonel walking around after killing tons of video protesters and finding SAM missiles lying around the site stamped PROPERTY OF USA - MADE IN CHINA

Obama's schedule for this coming Thursday is to host the Prime Minister of Turkey for meetings and dinner at the White House. Today's bombings at the Syrian border might top the agenda.

When the day comes, and there are many who believe it’s in the works, that the Petrodollar is no longer required to purchase oil, life as we have enjoyed it for so long will be kaputski.

Except for those of us who have traded fiat dollars for gold and silver. In addition to purchasing guns, ammo, food, water, land, heirloom seeds, medical supplies, tools, etc.

the building burned, with Stevens locked in a very unsafe safe room, where he died of smoke inhalation.

Stephens died after being raped, sodomized and tortured.
