White House holds 'deep background' Benghazi briefing

The White House held a "deep background" briefing with reporters on Friday afternoon to discuss recent revelations about the Benghazi investigation, sources familiar with the meeting tell POLITICO.
The meeting was conducted on "deep background," according to White House spokesman Josh Earnest, but sources told POLITICO that the existence of the meeting was "off the record." The meeting began around 12:45 p.m. and postponed the daily, on-the-record White House press briefing until mid-afternoon.

So, if 14 news organizations with an average of 5 people per attended as “deep cover,” What would that cost in hookers, drugs, botox and Swiss bank account deposits?
That deep “throat” meeting is equal to what happened at SCOTUS on January 14,2009 threats where everything and everywhere went MUTE and silent on the NBC issue all the way down from SCOTUS to the SCM!!!
I would vote for Retired Admiral James Lyon’s explanation as the most believable scenario that make true sense for a planned “October” surprise!!!

That’s what happened on January 14, 2009 when the Chicago-GODFATHER-Thugs-likes, paying a “secret” visit at SCOTUS, whispering something soft in John Robert’s ears, “that IF...if, etc.,” enough that he later caved in on the obamaScare, hello!!!
UPDATE (3:05 p.m.): I asked Earnest to explain the meaning of “deep background,” as defined by the White House, for my readers. He emails:
“Deep background means that the info presented by the briefers can be used in reporting but the briefers can't be quoted.”
UPDATE (3:30 p.m.): White House press secretary Jay Carney addressed the meeting at today's public briefing. He said reporters from 14 news organizations were present, including television, print and online.

The purpose of this farce is to convince a select group of journalists that they are being given restricted or even classified information that will show that what appears to be unethical or illegal conduct by federal entities is actually actions taken in the furtherance of “national interests.”
