Kaitlyn Hunt’s parents insist that their daughter, a Central Florida high school senior, is being prosecuted for sex crimes only because her lover was another girl. The state attorney says that gender makes no difference; the age of the two girls is at the crux of the case.
Ms. Hunt, 18, is an adult. The girl with whom she allegedly had sexual encounters is 14...
Just before Christmas, they had a sexual encounter in a bathroom at Sebastian River High School. They had at least one more encounter there, according to the affidavit, and one in Ms. Hunt’s bedroom in January after the 14-year-old, a freshman, ran away from home.
The younger girl’s parents went to the police after learning from a coach, school employees and students that their daughter was having a relationship, according to a report from the Indian River County Sheriff’s office. The parents’ information led to the investigation.

SoFloFreeper: They put it in the news to normalize perversion...the entire tone of the Miami TV story I saw was sympathetic to the adult who had SEX WITH A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD IN THE BATHROOM.

And yes, she's cute enough to be declared "Not Guilty". But were joking when we say that. This case has a "Creepy" factor, because it's a same sex predator. Why should FR guys declare her not guilty when she's not even in interested in FR guys.

Equal application of the law. In this case, Florida law makes it a crime for anyone 18 or older having sex of any sort with someone between 12 and 16.
So yes, she’s apparently guilty of a crime. Is it worth 15 years in the slammer ? I don’t think so.
If you REALLY want to punish the girl, sentence her to 15 years of Justin Bieber on an endless loop. . .

No high school students should be engaging in sex....in bathrooms or otherwise. Seniors should know better.
Damn, you know I have not seen ANYONE here who is defending the predator show ANY empathy for the concerns of the parents of the 14-year-old child.
I think the end goal is the kind of worship engaged in by the ancient Canaanites....sodomy of all kinds is just the first step.
