Al-Qaeda's military chief in Yemen warned Americans in an audio message posted online Sunday that the Boston bombings revealed a fragile security as he urged Muslims to defend their religion.
Qassim al-Rimi, the military chief of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, said making bombs such as the ones used in the twin blasts in Boston in April, is within "everyone's reach".
"The Boston events... and the poisoned letters (sent to the White House), regardless of who is behind them, show that your security is no longer under control, and that attacks on you have taken off and cannot be stopped," he said, in the message entitled: "A letter to the American people."
"Every day you will be hit by the unexpected and your leaders will not be able to defend you," warned the man whose organisation is considered by Washington the world's most dangerous Al-Qaeda branch.
Rimi said the killing of Al-Qaeda's founder Osama bin Laden in May 2011 and top Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki in September 2011, had not ended the struggle.
"Have you eliminated the jihadist groups that have spread everywhere after they had only been in Afghanistan? Today, they are in your land or close to it," he warned.....

The problem is death-by-a-thousand-cuts. Every time they hit us our government wildly overreacts ballooning the police state at an unaffordable long-term costs. They also win the psychological battle with the low information voters. Look at the second guessing on this website about what the police did or did not do for some event.
We are very fortunate that AQ and other Jihadists have mostly been stuck on the dream of doing something spectacular that tops 9/11. If they deployed individuals or even small groups doing simple low-technology non-complex attacks against us we would be paralyzed. I bet around July/August one Jihadist driving a cleverly disguised Toyota Prius with Greenpeace stickers could light half the west on fire during the drought with simple delay pyrotechnics.
AQ is not smart. In fact, they have wasted much of their potential trying to fight our military over there instead of hurting us where it counts. That part of the Bush doctrine turned out to be correct.
It is truly impossible to harden a free multicultural society against terrorism. There are many things we could do that would lessen the chances of our being hit, but we are far too multicultural to ever adopt the Israeli model and even that has not been foolproof. Our congress would bankrupt our nation with ineffective security if they started suicide bombing on mass transit, at malls, and at large public events.
That is a sad fact. Not sure how this will work in the long-run, but we have been extremely lucky to have a stupid opponent.
Well, we got news for him. Obammy’s national intelligence director James Clapper assured us that al-quaeda “no longer poses a major threat.”
Wait a second. That’s not right. I used ‘Obammy’ and ‘intelligence’ in the same sentence. And sub ‘stooge’ for ‘director.’ And Ansar al-sharia for al-quaeda. No, strike that: sub ‘muslims everywhere’.
Never mind.
There aren’t enough hours in the day to go through all the corruption and scandals this administration in which this administration is involved or highly likely to be involved. The stench of Chicago thuggery is engrained deeply in each of the ping topics.

BTW Things staying heated pretty much world-wide now. ..and Putin's on the move as we knew he would be. I remember saying way back on the Matrix, ‘important’ not to let him out of sight. He's got a hand to play and is doing just that.. more than many politicians care to comment about.
Same with China....and both are not exactly hiding their moves as before.
The whole area over there is peculating....just wondering who, if any will turn the heat down....I don't expect any until Obama is out of office...though I have great reservations of whoever follows much will be done.
First declare Islam an alien, retrograde political ideology and throw all Muslims out, including American converts. This mental cancer is dangerous once it gains a prominent foothold.
