Pope Francis has acknowledged the existence of a 'gay lobby' inside the Vatican's secretive administration for the first time.

Speaking during an audience with Latin American Catholics, the Argentine Pontiff said that there was a 'current of corruption' in the Roman Curia - the central governing body of the Catholic Church.

This is going to be a real problem for the media. By definition, a “gay lobby” is the height of righteousness and truth, and—also by definition—the Roman Catholic Church is wicked and corrupt. So what happens when someone tries to say that “corrupt=gay” or vice-versa? Francis may go down in flames.

May God Bless Francis. Eliminating the gay lobby from the vatican will go a long way toward eliminating sex abusing priests from parishes worldwide.

Pray for him.

I’ve always wondered why pedophile priests and other members of the Church weren’t exposed immediately and made examples of through public excoriation. It would have deterred a lot of subsequent pedophiles, and put the Church on the clear side of rejecting such sin.

He also admitted the existence of a long-rumoured 'gay lobby' in the Curia, and hinted that he might take action over the issue.

Might?!

I am not Roman Catholic, but my understanding is celibacy of priests and nuns etc would not be merely heterosexual celibacy.

Exactly right.

He also admitted the existence of a long-rumoured 'gay lobby' in the Curia, and hinted that he might take action over the issue.

By not taking action would amount to condoning it. He darn well better take action.

Celibacy is a state of not being married. Since homosexuals CAN’T be married, then it assumes that celibacy applies only to heterosexuals. Chastity, on the other hand, is a state of sexual abstinence ....NO SEX outside of marriage. ALL Christians are called to chastity. Priests in the Roman Rite are celibate and therefore should practice continence.

Homosexuality should NOT exist in the priesthood according to the 1961 directives. Pope John XXIII outlined church policy. “Advancement to religious vows and ordination should be barred to those who are afflicted with evil tendencies to homosexuality or pederasty, since for them the common life and the priestly ministry would constitute serious dangers.”

Celibacy is a state of not being married.

Celibacy has several definitions.

cel·i·ba·cy noun \ˈse-lə-bə-sē\

1: the state of not being married
2 a: abstention from sexual intercourse
b: abstention by vow from marriage

Chastity, on the other hand, is a state of sexual abstinence ....

Chastity also has several definitions.

chas·ti·ty noun \ˈchas-tə-tē\

1: the quality or state of being chaste: as
a: abstention from unlawful sexual intercourse
b: abstention from all sexual intercourse
c: purity in conduct and intention
d: restraint and simplicity in design or expression
2: personal integrity

With regard to the consecrated life of the ordained and religious, celibacy and chastity are synonymous.

Yes ... I think it's long past time we dispense with the politically correct "pedophilia" meme ...

The sex abuse problem was a HOMOSEXUAL problem ... the solution is to keep the queers out of the priesthood.

Amen to that.

Pedophilia would be if these perverts were attacking per-pubescent boys. They are, generally, attacking teenaged boys. It is an aggressive homosexual predatory act.

They will burn in hell for their sins. Along side those who have helped cover them up.

No ... The solution is, as it has always been, to recruit mentally healthy, theologically orthodox Christ centered Men. It’s not difficult, as many ORTHODOX seminaries and orders illustrate.

A voluminous report alludes to statements by a commission of three cardinals providing evidence that a homosexual network existed among officials of the Roman Curia, and that some Vatican officials were subject to blackmail ... the three cardinals who were members of the commission delivered their report privately to Pope Benedict, and that the report would be passed on to his successor.

I don’t allow a permissible, but rather allow as a group might “lobby” to reverse the 1961 directive. Certainly someone could not be sexually active but argue the 1961 directive should be modified to include highly sexual heterosexuals.

“I’ve always wondered why pedophile priests and other members of the Church weren’t exposed immediately and made examples of through public excoriation. It would have deterred a lot of subsequent pedophiles, and put the Church on the clear side of rejecting such sin....”

After all these years, are you still unaware that the majority (about 85-90%) of the sex-abuse scandals were homosexual in nature? that is, priests with teenage boys aged 12-18 approximately. This behavior is identical with that of Jerry Sandusky at Penn State. It is a type of grooming of young boys who are vulnerable and do not feel any power to resist the approaches of an older man who has some standing in the institution.

In the case of the RC church, many homosexuals were encouraged to enter the seminary following WWII, especially. In fact, the Kremlin documents say that they had a plan to do exactly that with the RC church so as to destabilize it and to render it ineffective with the public. The RC church is a huge organization with a bureaucracy just like any other huge organization. Once many homos infiltrated the clergy they set about recommending their friends for advancement to bishoprics. Eventually some became archbishops and cardinals. And, when this network grew bigger, they were able to blackmail these same bishops into not acting upon allegations of abuse.

One more thing - the pseudoscience of psychiatry in the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s insisted that homosexuals could be cured by attending therapy sessions, etc. So after they came back home, these priests were reassigned to parishes.

Of course this was a mistake. It was dangerous; it was inexcusable to the children (mostly teens) and their parents who suffered from the results of continued sexual abuse. It is really hard to comprehend, but is somewhat understandable in certain cases where some priests were never before involved in abuse. Those cases where repeat offenders were protected - well, what can be said, other than to condemn it in the most vigorous way.

The fact that the Vatican was infiltrated with gay clergy cannot be surprising when we are seeing in our own country the infiltration of our highest federal agencies by communists and Islamists without much being said or done to stop it. I pray Pope Francis will be able to clean out the next of gays inside the Vatican.

Folks, we are in a war here. It is a cultural war. It is a war against all morality. We must get on our knees and beg the Almighty God to help us, to send us the Holy Spirit, and have mercy on us. Our enemies are more than the human faces we know; they are the forces of evil arrayed against all that is Godly.

That would not have involved the United States, and a plan is a plan, we have a plan to invade Canada somewhere.

It takes a lot of conspiracy believing to think that masses of young single men left life to devote the rest of their lives to the Catholic Priesthood just to advance an international homosexual agenda, that is dedication even greater than a normal Priest's.

Such would take much conspiratorial thinking. Wouldn’t it be much more easy to manipulate individuals already in place (using male honey pots and blackmail) to selectively seek out, corrupt, and advance new ‘recruits’? I tend to think such is plausible given the high priority target for Lucifer and his demonic minions.

It would be easier to just live a normal life and pursue liberal politics to pressure an institution that you disagreed with.

I imagine that Priest class 101 is about how they will be pursued sexually, just as shrinks, doctors, and Ministers must be.

My guess is that the collar attracts females with various psychologies and neurosises, that compel them to want to win the unattainable Priest, there are bound to be homosexuals driven by similar impulses.
