What if this administration orchestrated "Snowdens NSA Leak" for the purpose of evoking just the reactions being displayed by at least half the US public? Outrage over the spying and invasion of privacy. Patriot Act gets called into question.
Hang on I'm getting there...we beg them to stop spying on us.
The Senate now wants to review the Patriot Act ect...modifies or eliminates certain elements making it fairly innoculous regarding domestic issues.
What if by doing this the administration opens the door really wide enabling a attack that dwarfs 9/11 and blames it those who opposed the NSA spying.
What if "he" never leaves....
A lot of us arent going anywhere.
AMEN!
I’m fighting it. If I go down, I’ll choose to go down in my country, fighting for it. There is nowhere on the globe that is immune to power-hungry tyrants.
Spying on us didnt stop that bombing in Boston and they were all over the internet.
Don’t forget (listen to the Dems to remember this has been going on a LONG time) we’ve had spy networks in place for decades and Clinton passed over the chance to get Bin Laden even when intel had him marked.....
Nobody should be so surprised at these allegations. The government has been at this since forever. It would be naive to think that all this started after 9/11. It did not start with President Obama, it may have started with President Woodrow Wilson so calm down folks.
We must look at where the line is being drawn between violation of personal liberties and freedoms and safeguarding the US from external or even internal threats.
What we should be asking is how is the data sifted and acted upon. What happened on 9/11, Benghazi and Boston was that the critical information was not quickly passed on, assessed and acted upon. The same conclusions were reached on December 8th 1941.
The US had broken both the Ultra and Purple Codes from the Japanese and Germans yet, the conceptual models and calculations were either inaccurate or ignored and not given the priority they should have gotten.
It is the ITEL, human interpretations, hierarchical and bureaucratic authorities that err each and every time not the massive amounts of data that these folks have to deal with everyday.
My working theory is there are enough patriots in intel seeing poshitus about to amass 100% power that We The People cannot overcome, and are helping us out of this nightmare.
You have to ask yourself, in all these revelations, whose ox is being gored the most. So far it’s most of zero’s control apparatus that’s being dragged out into the sunlight.
In airplane mode it just links right to the NSA server...
LOL, I think not.
There are a few Free apps that monitor battery and data use and you can pretty much tell the phone is cut off in AP mode.
Seriously, however. It hasn't escaped our notice that the barrage of scandal revelations definitely diverted attention to the Senate's initial cloture exercise, setting up consideration of S 744, the Senate's nation-weakening immigration FUBAR legislation, the so-called "Gang of Eight" initiative.
Either Obama and his henchmen need to create a resonant rallying point ahead of 2014 or, better from their standpoint, continue to legalize their dependent and alien underclass strategy for the decades ahead.
Again, from their standpoint, those goals may override all other concerns.
I agree with you. Occam’s razor applies.
Since 2008 I have maintained that Hussein is a well planned, highly organized terrorist attack against this country. The Saudis who are leading him created the financial meltdown in September, 08 to assure his election. He has followed a roadmap beginning with the takeover of the auto industry, the stimulus, healthcare, gun control, right up to the events we are experiencing today. It has been a systematic coup against the US.
You could be right.
