FR is and will remain a pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, small government, strong defense, pro-gun, pro-borders, grassroots conservative site... per the Declaration and Constitution and our traditional Judeo-Christian American heritage and way of life.
Those who wish to pursue some other way of life are certainly free to do so. Elsewhere. We will not attempt to interfere with thier God-given unalienable right to dissent. Ain't freedom grand.
God willing, sanity will someday return to America. Probably not until America stops turning its back on God though.
Either way, we will continue the fight.

Thanks for this (to both of you) ... a bright spot in an otherwise dark and very sad day. SCOTUS has emasculated the California voting process. My vote no longer counts. I'm looking into the means for withdrawing or cancelling my voter registration because I'm tired of "participating" in a meaningless process.
My apologies, Dr. Franklin and Mr. Madison ... we couldn't keep it.

We should all take comfort in knowing there is sanity in this world, right here on FR. Thank you for that JR! Prayers that people will indeed return to God so he may bless this great nation once again, even when the ever present rot around us gives us cause to doubt.

Although I would point out that FR permits a broader - significantly broader - range of thought, opinion and ideology than places like DU and KOS do - where very small deviations from the permitted "norm" are crushed with extreme prejudice.
In my opinion, FR and Freepers are all the better for that wider breadth.

As an old retired ARMY VET I can say that We didn’t wear our patriotism on our sleeves nor on our lapels — we LIVED it!
That was MY America—and it is the America I miss sorely.
