Dispiriting as it is to admit for those of us who like our republics modest and our republicans unassuming, we are living through one of those bothersome periods in American history in which cults of personality are all the rage. Cory Booker’s victory on Tuesday evening was as inevitable as will be his coronation in the Senate, followed before long by the breathless and ubiquitous talk of a Booker presidency. Nevertheless, for all his supposed virtues, the celebrity mayor of Newark will have to wait his turn, for the Obamacult has a different understudy, and she is busily readying herself for a seamless takeover. I refer, of course, to Hillary Clinton.

Hillary is done with elected office. She is the left’s equivalent of Sarah Palin, though Palin probably does see elected office in her future. She’s younger.
Hillary’s done beyond being a beloved icon of the left.
She already IS a cult figure, constructed many years ago. For some very bizarre reason, more than half of this nation thinks she’s awash with a sea of accomplishments.
I just want to hear one real reason as to why they think she’s qualified to be President. I’ve yet to hear it.
The only real job she’s had in her life was the Whitewater scam.
Her sole claim to fame is that she was married to ClintBilly, and helped him build his body count.
Sarah Palin still looks very attractive in HD.
Hillary......not so much.
Maybe it’s sexist, but that factor should not be underestimated.
I remember 5.5 yrs ago when Hillary was a “lock” for the nomination.
Then some guy from Kenya by way of Chicago snuck in and stole the kishka....
She is a used up, old skag. Not fit to breath our air.
There are times when I wonder how it is the pinkos in the so-called “news” media, and the perverts in the so-called “entertainment” industry have escaped the righteous wrath of an outraged citizenry without having at least a few KIAs.
No she isn't... not by a long shot. Have you seen the cosmetic surgery, the changed hairstyle, the speechifying on immigration and "voter suppression?"
She is most assuredly getting ready for 2016. Remember.. as late as early 2000, Hillary said she had "no plans" to run for the Senate seat in NY. She's not only a "beloved" icon of the left, but of people who claim to be in the political center as well.
Voters in this country are not a thinking lot as they were in years past. Emotion rules the day, and American women, along with the dependable minorities, queers and other members of the dems' growing demographic advantages, will support her in a huge way. The only drama that remains is whether she chooses to be president.
This is just my opinion. I think she is done.

I still don’t understand the media’s love affair with Cory Booker. I realize he saved a person in a fire, but isn’t Newark still an awful, crime-infested sewer?
This is just my opinion. I think she is done.
Thing is, if she actually runs, all sorts of dirt will percolate to the surface. It will matter. It will matter a lot more than the cost of Palin’s wardrobe.
This is all a show with goals other than seeing her to the oval office. Again, IMO.
The chaos in the Middle East is Exhibit A of her abject failure as a Secretary of State. She has no business running. I just wish ALL of the retreads on both sides of the aisle would just go away.
That's because the "righteous wrath" has never manifested into anything other than words. Much is said about the "coming conflict," but there's no evidence that's in the offing... but we'll talk about it a lot.

There are those of us who would hope for a second party that actually discusses some conservative values rather than relying on bogeymen to rally the serfs.
No, it’s no sexist. Where I work and live, looks count. She doesn’t look good as she ages(and never has hence, the Bubba escapades).
