SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A Republican state lawmaker says a new California law allowing transgender students to choose which restroom and locker room they use has caused his family to pull at least one son from their local public school.
Assemblyman Tim Donnelly wrote in a column that his sons were "horrified" to learn they might have to share a restroom with female students. He told The Associated Press on Friday that he is pulling one son out of middle school, while another son is uncertain if he will return to his public high school.

‘Pull your wife and kids out of California_____’
I’m thinking the trouble with that is one moves elsewhere, and lo and behold, two years later - same thing!
Similar to older parents moving to where an adult child resides, only to have that child, or their spouse, transferred elsewhere.
Can the older parents afford to move again??
Sometimes it works, I’m guessing.
Do they have to put cameras in the rest rooms yet? Otherwise there is danger of certain misdemeanors, and accusations of same, and lawsuits.
Let’s get some cameras in there to protect the gals from voyeurs! (That facetiousness is to highlight the irrationality of the arrangement.)
Depends on where you go. It will be a long time, if ever, before this sort of thing happens in South Carolina.
I expect the feeling is similar in Texas.

California is still stuck in the free love 60’s higher STD’s to ensue.
Ha! I've met two (I'm 58). One in California, One in Alaska
Ugliest women on the planet.
One had 3 children from when he was married. I actually had to interact with him when I had to get forms signed off to purchase computers. I usually sent my assistant over because I could not stand to look at it.

I can relate to this. whenever I see a person whose gender is not clearly delineated, it makes me uncomfortable. Any man who is extremely effeminate or any woman who is overtly masculine is unappealing, IMHO. I do not wish to deal with them at all. Does that make me unchristian? Perhaps. But, I don’t hate them or condemn them - only feel uncomfortable around them.
Good for him for being a real father. We need more like him.
>>I just said to my wife Is there not one parent in California who isnt nuts?
One: Tim Donnelly.
Wait a second — isn’t that ILLEGAL?!?!?!?
It’s the same story with me. I’m 54, I can only remember meeting one person in my life who I thought was transgendered, and that was in the 1980s. What’s more, I thought most of the people undergoing sex-change operations do so after they grow up; kids are only operated on if they are born as hermaphrodites. So out of six million California students, how many fit the transgender definition, six?

You can choose to just FReep the poll or FReep and post a response. They like witty responses that are on point...here’s mine.
“So, can DNA be changed as well? Just because you “feel” like you’re something else or want to be something else, doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. Just because I might want to be a superhero, doesnt mean its going to happen.
Time for parents, school officials, psychiatrists, etc. to wake up and realize it’s time to get back to teaching the little darlings how to cope with the realities of life instead of patronizing every little fantasy and whim that comes along. Oh, sorry, I forgot. Its all about feelings.
At some point, you all are going to run out of other people’s money and resources to accommodate all of this. I wonder, what do the straight kids think about all this? Did anyone stop and think to ask them? Oh, again, I forgot. I guess Im not really all that enlightened. The majority will submit to the minority in this country now. Political correctness (cultural marxism) demands it.
I wonder how many “boys” have just figured out they’re “girls” trapped in a boy’s body so they can cruise the girls locker room now?
Stupid is as stupid does, as is so often the case in CA.”
