There is much truth to what you said. Looks are one of the top factors in retail politics.
However, don’t rule out the impact of free stuff and the ineptitude of the GOP. Those are top factors also.
As much as it pains me to say it, Hillary has to be considered the front-runner right now. The ugly factor may be outweighed by the “elect first woman” factor.

It’s amazing how women completely changed the face of US politics. Just think: Our whole political system is based on who is the prettiest and then we wonder why everything has gone to hell. When’s the last time you remember a bald President? Yes Ford, but he wasn’t elected. Eisenhower was the last bald one but he ran against Stevenson who was also bald and guess who won? Eisenhower who was better looking. Remember JFK Jr? Before he died in the plane crash they were touting him for Senator even though the guy was borderline retarded. If he lived I have absolutely no doubt today he would be President or on his way.

Respectfully disagree. Unlimited union money, illegal money, illegal alien votes, destroying opposition, media in her favor, and over 50% of the population not want to give up government benefits makes her the front runner. And if you get in her way, she will use government resources to destroy your life. The left is capable of doing anything for power, particularly Hillary Rodham Clinton.
