A hot dog vendor at a Ferguson Home Depot was robbed of his cellphone and struck in the head with a hammer by four shoplifters. The incident occurred around 3 p.m on Wednesday. The Home Depot is located in St. Louis County at the 10900 block of New Halls Ferry Road. According the CBS St Louis, “the suspects are black men in their early 20s. Two of the suspects were wearing white t-shirts, one had a plaid shirt. The fourth was wearing a blue shirt and had his right arm in a cast.”

Authorities said the hot dog vendor was standing at the front entrance of the Home Depot in the 10900 block of New Halls Ferry Rd. around 3 p.m. when four shoplifters walked by and swiped his cell phone.
Police said the vendor chased them out of the store, but was struck in the head with a hammer one of the suspects had stolen. The suspects then got in a car and drove away.
The bloodied victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities were looking at surveillance video to help identify the suspects.

What is the attraction for stealing cell phones do they sell them for money?
The victim may have been black, he chased down one perp and tackled him before getting hit. let’s face it, most white guys can’t move that fast and the suspects were built like football players....
It’s time to start carrying whether it’s legal or not.
Your life may well depend on it with these feral animals running around and committing random acts of severe violence.

The Government isn’t about to intervene on the Black on White crime epidemic, and the media continues to sweep it under the rug.
And yes, it is an epidemic.
Just google “The Color of Crime” and read it - about 5% of the population is committing about 50% of the violent crimes.

I saw a guy on public transit the other day who was carrying a hammer (his long T-shirt hung over it) in his back pocket. No, he wasn’t dressed like a carpenter and he didn’t have a tool box or a tool belt.
Drug deals most likely.
My kids both in their 20’s are on those darn cell phones a lot and I am always telling them to make sure they pay attention because people are smashing you for your phones.
I have a cell phone for emergency’s only and it is an
old flip phone which I guess is old school but I could care less.

Phone worth $200- $400 can be resold easy on the street. No one tracks the stolen ones in this country like they do in Europe so anyone can have it turned back on in their name. Pretty much the police don't think they are worth the trouble of following up on.
I would guess to that every once in while they get lucky and end up getting credit card numbers when they access your email account on them .

Four men use a shop lifted hammer as a weapon to give a freakin’ hot dog vendor a serious head injury and possibly kill him , just to steal some poor, hard working hot dog vendors cell phone?
This is so FUBAR it defies rational description and really hammers home the level of criminality and contempt this emerging segment of our society has embraced.
The scary thing is that we are seeing the emergence of a new, emerging generation of hyper violent youth for whom murder, violence and criminal behavior are a glorified way of life and primary career aspiration.
Kids used to want to firemen or brain surgeons. Now they want to drug dealing thugs who casually assault, murder, rape and steal just for the fun of it.
The shooter who killed the Aussie baseball player exhibits no remorse, is very proud of his murder, was dancing and singing with joy as he was led to jail and at his arraignment in court and simply does not think he has done anything wrong.
For him, randomly killing an innocent white man is just as normal as can be and is business as usual in the ghetto, hip-hop gangster culture he grew up in.

These guys probably steal a dozen or more cell phones a day from people.....likely, they don’t get much pushback as here.
I’m guessing they go for the high end smart phones which can be sold online for a nice price. My guess is that these type phones end up in other countries, e.g., the Mideast where they are hard to get or way too expensive new.
I asked him how the TSA let him in with the hammer...
He said he was a builder working in Oakland...with the tools of his trade...
...and that on his walk to the bus station he passes several houses with angry dogs....and that he would use the hammer on a dog if attacked.
My opinion is to always carry a sheet rock hammer.

After all...you never know when you will meet a piece of sheet rock that needs an attitude adjustment.
