As talk and rumors of an impending Western attack against Syria mount, a top Syrian official said Monday that if attacked, his country would react – against Israel.
Speaking to an Arabic-language radio station operated by the United States, Syria's Deputy Information Minister Halaf Al-Maftah said that Israel would face not only Syria in the event that the US, Britain and France attempted to unseat Bashar al-Assad. A coalition consisting of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria would respond to any attack against Assad with a response against Israel. In addition, terrorist groups in Syria and Lebanon would attack Israel with full force.

I thought that was a very interesting article myself. It certainly does explain how to dismantle the US rather quickly. Sucks for us that our very own “elected representatives” care more about the global oil cabal than the citizens of our country.
Our only hope is that they push Israel too far and they take care of business, cleaning up the whole neighborhood. However, if you believe in the good book, Isaiah 17 is quite clear in stating that Israel will be destroyed along with Damascus when it all is said and done.
We can see the handwriting on the wall right now. All nations (including the hijacked US government) will indeed oppose Israel. The countdown has begun...
...But before the Lord returns to do battle and defend Israel, the False Messiah/anti-Christ (0bama?) must first usher in a false peace and be praised. Jews will be allowed to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem...but then anti-Christ will take it as His own and demand that HE be called "The One." Cue up Armageddon then.

Most of the leaders in the Arab world are narcissistic. Most of them know how popular it is to hate Israel. Therefore, just like Saddam did before him, Assad threatens to attack Israel believing that the Arab World will rally to his cause and drop their differences to engage the biggest/most hated enemy of Islam.

Should Syria attack Israel, Israel will be unleashed because Obama has very little sway over Netanyahu.
IF Assad is foolish enough to launch SCUDs at Israel, his regime is finished within 2 hours. Problem is, then the so-called “Rebels’” (read Jihadists) take over.
If the Syrians launch Chemical weapons at Israel, Israel nukes Damascus and then they should nuke Tehran after that. Of course the UN will be up in arms but the major threats to the planet are gone...oh, maybe one more nuke on Moscow for good measure?

My hope would be that Syria does attack Israel and then the Israelis’ take care of both Syria and end Iran's nuclear threat once and for all..Is to do so.Israel cant depend on the US and will have to eventually act on its own, this might be an opportunity
I think the present administration is unwilling to do much more than use the situation for domestic political gain which is the casual response that keeps the US public distracted.

I see a possible attack on Israel which then uses it as a reason to pulverize the Hizbollah in Lebanon, something that Israel is better at doing because of the known theater of operation and it is in Israel's “backyard”.
Israel “knows” Lebanon better than the Lebanese.
So there is a possibility that the US MIGHT go after Iran while Israel takes care of the little guys in it's neighborhood, HAMAS and Hizbollah.
Of course we are dealing with a weasel President who does not like Israel so, things may turn out differently.
Such a response by Syria on Israel would require large amounts US and NATO ground and air assets and a much larger military presence overall.
Yeah, attack Israel, right. Or, the jackasses running Syria could just put the barrels in their own mouths and squeeze the triggers.
