Democrat National Committee Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) says the coming recall elections of Colorado state senators John Morse (D) and Angela Giron (D) are "a blatant attack on our Democratic principles."
Voters are trying to recall Morse and Giron because of their support of gun control laws that banned rifle and pistol magazines larger than 15 rounds, banned shotgun magazines larger than eight rounds, and mandated a background check on every gun sale in the state, i.e., universal background checks.
The laws also contained a new fee that will be added to every gun sale to pay for the background checks. Coloradans behind the recall see this fee as a new tax that future Democrats will be able to raise as they please to drive up the cost of buying a gun.
Voters are trying to recall Morse and Giron because the passage of these laws displeased constituents.

The democratic party platform has always been built out of planks made of pure unadulterated bullshit which is why they are incapable of actually standing on their own platform, they just sink in it.
The recall for Giron in Pueblo started with early voting on Friday in one location. An additional 10 centers for early voting will open on Sept. 5th. There is some sort of issue with a Libertarian candidate wanting on the ballot for the recall of Morse, so in Colorado Springs they are not doing early voting and the election is Sept 10th. That’s the latest information I have:)
The Republican going against Giron is George Riveria and Bernie Herpin (R) is up against Morse (D).

A Democrat principal is to negate the Constitution and establish tyranny. In that case the recall does attack the principles of the Democrats. She is nearly (if accidentally) correct.
And where and how many times can I vote in it? Will busses be provided? Do I have to register before voting; or do "provisional ballots" count?
Will the votes be counted over and over until the "correct" result is reached? Are there "extra" ballot boxes stashed in car trunks and court house basements, to be miraculously "found" if the recounting isn't enough to get the job done?
Since she's never seen any of those things as "an attack on our democratic principles", then it must be legal in her eyes, if we do it.
