ONLY GOD GIVES PEACE
The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace. Psalm 29:11
One of the greatest ways God speaks to us and leads us is through the inner witness. In other words, we just know inside what is right or wrong. It is a deeper level of knowing than head knowledge. This type of knowing is in the spiritwe simply have peace or a lack of peace. By the presence or absence of peace, we know what we should do. I once spoke with a woman who needed to make a serious decision. Her family and friends were giving her advice, but she needed to know within herself what the right answer was because she was the one who would have to live with it. She had been in a certain business all of her life and was feeling that she wanted to get out of it and stay home with her children. Of course, this would require drastic financial adjustments and personal changes for her, things that could even affect her emotionally. She needed to know from God, not from other people, what the right decision was. The woman went to a retreat with a relative. During the course of that weekend, as she praised and worshipped God and listened to the speaker, a knowing and a peace came into her heart that she was indeed right about closing the business. She said a moment just came when she knew what was right. She has had peace about her decision ever since. It is amazing how well-meaning people can tell us things, yet they really dont affect us. But when God speaks to us about a matter, it has a great impact on us. Ask God for the inner witness that only He can give. I hope you can get that problem with your vehicle resolved! No good deed goes unpunished when it comes to dealing with auto accidents and insurance companies.
My sister is under the weather so we had a slight change in plans - Mrs. MacNessa and I journeyed out to a local brewery pub. We had an excellent dinner, Quesadillas for an appetizer, Mrs. Mac had Penne with shrimp accompanied by a nice Chardonnay and I had Fish and Chips with an excellent IPA. Key Lime Pie for dessert - made by someone who knows that Key Limes are yellow when ripe.
Now I'm mellowing out watching my beloved Fighting Irish going down to defeat at the hands of the Michigan Wolverines. You can't take it away from the Wolverines - they are playing an awesome game.

So sorry your sister is under the weather...may she feel better soon. Your Plan B sounds delightful. Key Lime pie sounds wonderful!! And fish and chips is always a good idea.
I switched to Washington and USC hoping to see USC get smooshed. Not happening so far.

USC is another of the few teams that have Notre Dame's number - Who are those guys, anyway?

LORD REMEMBER NOT ALL OUR WICKEDNESSES
HERR GEDENKEN NICHT UNSER ÜBELTHATEN Felix Mendelssohn (Click)
Herr gedenke nicht unsere Übelthaten, und erbarme dich unsere Elends. Herr, der du unser Heiland best, stehe uns bei, Erlösen uns und vergieb uns unsere Sünden, um der Herrlichkeit deines Names willen. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Lord, remember not all our wickednesses, but in mercy, Lord, look thou upon us. Lord, our Savior blest, send Salvation! And release us and forgive us our transgressions for the majesty of thy glorious Namesake. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

Not working this weekend - just taking it easy. We enjoyed the rain, went grocery shopping, and made cookies for Sunday School tomorrow.
I have to confess, that was me on Nana’s laptop. But, she was telling me what to say, more or less!

HEAR MY PRAYER, O GOD, INCLINE THINE EAR!
"Hear My Prayer / O For The Wings Of A Dove" Felix Mendelssohn (Click)
"Hear my prayer, O God, incline Thine ear! Thyself from my petition do not hide. Take heed to me! Hear how in prayer I mourn to Thee, Without Thee all is dark, I have no guide. The enemy shouteth, The godless come fast! Iniquity, hatred, upon me they cast! The wicked oppress me, Ah where shall I fly? Perplexed and bewildered, O God, hear my cry! My heart is sorely pained, within my breast, my soul with deathly terror is oppressed, trembling and fearfulness upon me fall, with horror overwhelmed, Lord, hear me call, O for the wings, for the wings of a dove! Far away, far away would I rove! In the wilderness build me a nest, and remain there for ever at rest."
Please let me know by Freepmail if you would like to be admitted to or released from my music ping list.

LORD, NOW LETTEST THOU THY SERVANT DEPART IN PEACE
NUNC DIMITTIS Geoffrey Burgon (Click)
Nunc dimittis servum tuum, Domine, secundum verbum tuum in pace: Quia viderunt oculi mei salutare tuum Quod parasti ante faciem omnium populorum: Lumen ad revelationem gentium, et gloriam plebis tuae Israel. (Lucas 2:29-32 BSV)
Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper et in sæcula sæculorum. Amen.
Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. (Luke 2:29-32 KJV)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. World without end, Amen.
