A new conservative political committee that’s clearly no fan of Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has nevertheless incorporated her name in its title — and federal regulators are pushing back.
In a letter to Stop Pelosi PAC, an Alexandria, Va.-based hybrid political action committee that officially formed Sept. 5, the Federal Election Commission tells the group it must remove the "Pelosi" from its name unless its an authorized committee of the congresswoman herself. It is not.
Stop Pelosi PAC's "failure to adequately respond" by Oct. 17 could lead to an "audit or enforcement action," writes Paul Stoetzer, a senior campaign finance analyst for the FEC.

I remember the “ABC: Anyone But Church” committee to oust Frank Church (D, Idaho) from the senate. There were no calls to have them remove the name “Church” from their name.
I believe I’d tell the FEC to stuff it. Hire a lawyer, drag it out in court and keep using the name. It’s what the Democrats would do.
So, it is OK to have a PAC supporting Nazi Pelosi incorporating her name, but not a PAC opposing to her?
Yeah, right! This stinks to high heavens.
Just change the name to Pelousy. Problem solved on so many points.

2) A political committee established solely to draft an individual or to encourage him or her to become a candidate may include the name of such individual in the name of the committee provided the committee's name clearly indicates that it is a draft committee.

I'm not a lawyer, but I have successfully prosecuted four civil suits in US Fedrool Court. I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn. I just spent time in the Library of Congress and got help learning the research rules. Three were torts, and the fourth was a civil action against the State of WV and Gov. Manchin. I was a candidate for State Senate in 2008.
It was initially dismissed due to improper filing, but the day after I resubmitted with the corrections, the AG called and told me I would get a letter detailing there agreement so it would be resolved and I could dismiss. They did, and I did!
I have his letter framed along with the first page of the complaint. I lost to one of the largest receivers of union largess. He outspent me 500-1. I still got 37% of the vote. I advertised myself as a "Tea Party Republican"... and the state Pubbies gave me nothing (but grief).
So clear that the Obama thugs willfully ignore any law against their purposes! The Obama administration is the biggest criminal conspiracy, EVER!

Otherwise, call it ‘Stop the (Western) Witch’ or something. Everybody will still get the name referring to Pelosi.
