Via William Jacobson, NBC's affiliate in Washington, D.C. reports that police ordered tourists and Vietnam war veterans who were visiting the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall to leave the memorial at one point on Friday.
After one group of veterans went around the barricade, "the park ranger told them the wall was closed," NBC's Mark Seagraves reported. "Later another group of vets showed up and moved the barricades. At that point, the memorial filled with vets and tourists. That's when police came and moved everyone out."
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is a black granite outdoor wall on which the names of the 58,272 service members who died or were unaccounted for during the Vietnam war are inscribed.
It takes more manpower and costs the government more money to close down an outdoor wall than to let people walk past it and pay their respects.
The Obama administration has been very selective in devoting resources to shutting down memorials.

Had I been there and not 800 miles away, I would not have left.
The fact that the gestapo was allowed to force Americans away from their own open air memorials proves beyond a shadow of a doubt the country is completely lost.
If such an outrageous action towards true AMERICAN heroes is allowed to stand, then the citizens have sent a clear message to our communist leaders that nothing they do will force the citizens to act.
What is next?
Well if the government is shut down then they could refuse to honor ANY of our rights and certainly they could refuse to honor our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights.
Why not arrest and hold with no trial?
Why not confiscate ALL your savings and retirement accounts and your investments?
What could possibly stop them when we won’t even dig in right now?

Defy Obama and film it. It will make for great campaign material in the election of 2014.
We need video of the government using Gestapo tactics against WWII veterans and any other citizen that opposes Obama. Also need to broadcast Harry Reid telling kids with cancer to “go to hell”
I wish those elderly vets, especially the ones in wheelchairs, refused to move. Let the guards carry those 80 and 90 year old vets out including the wheel chairs, film it and let it go viral (alphabet networks most likely wouldn’t show it).
