Obama used the NSA to find dirt on him.
Or, he's a liberal turd with an (R) next to his name.

Ryan has this laser-like focus on putting the screws to working and middle class GOP voters. Between his support for amnesty and his continued harping on cuts to SS and Medicare, programs to which the average GOP voter has contributed for decades, it’s clear that his constituents need someone else filling his congressional seat.

...former vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, suggesting that Republicans drop all Obamacare demands in their push for a deal on the debt ceiling and a continuing resolution to fund the government. Instead, he suggested that Republicans look for a bargain on entitlement reform, a pet project of his, as well as tax reform... Ping for later

I don’t know, there may be value to this depending upon how obamacare works out. If we get some real cuts in other areas, we fund obamacare for another year. By then so many people may hate it that we can bring it up again and kill it finally, with plenty of public support.

Negotiating 101 tells you to trade promises for promises and actions for actions. Anytime you trade actions on your part for promises on the part of the other party, you lose.
Particularly when the other party has a long track record of broken promises.

A couple points about the health care "law":
1. It was never passed by the Senate in its current form. The law is an amalgam of the senate bill and the house bill stuck together w/o any reconciliation.
2. Not one republican voted for the law.
3. obama has suspended multiple articles of this law w/o approval from congress.
4. During the run up to passage obama repeatedly stated that the mandate was not a tax, and yet the USSC allowed the law to go through because Roberts, and he alone, called it a tax and therefore, unbeleivably a tax.
What is Ryan trying to do? Declare surrender on the cusp of victory?
