Obama 'gutting military' by purging generals

President Obama this year alone has fired some nine generals and flag officers, on top of at least four similar dismissals during his first term, suggesting that a purge may be the real reason behind the removals, which are being described as cases of personal misbehavior.

Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, an outspoken critic of the Obama administration, claims it is part of Obama’s strategy to reduce U.S. standing worldwide.

“Obama is intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged,” he charged.

Duty personnel seem to back up this concern, suggesting that the firings are meant to send a message to “young officers down through the ranks” not to criticize the president or White House politics.

“They are purging everyone, and if you want to keep your job, just keep your mouth shut,” one source said.

Amazing how zer0 is making sure that there will be no military coups when he turns America into a fiefdom with his own coup.

The ones who will not vow to fire on U.S. civilians if so ordered are first to go.

His indiscretion? Gurganus questioned having to use Afghan security patrols alongside American patrols after two of his officers were executed at their desk and a platoon was led into an ambush.

Here's a good example of why I despise Barack Obama. He's not inept - he's rotting-fish-head evil.

This is what Stalin did in the 1930’s. The result? When Hitler attacked, they had a rally poor response to the attack. Russia was saved by General Winter and the depth of the country. Obama is doing this to greatly weaken the US military forces.

Nine officers is less than 1 percent of the total number of generals and admirals we have. I wouldn’t call that ‘gutting’.

Obama's Military Coup Purges 197 Officers In Five Years

… From Breitbart.com's Facebook page comes a list of at least 197 officers that have been relieved of duty by President Obama for a laundry list of reasons and sometimes with no reason given. Stated grounds range from "leaving blast doors on nukes open" to "loss of confidence in command ability" to "mishandling of funds" to "inappropriate relationships" to "gambling with counterfeit chips" to "inappropriate behavior" to "low morale in troops commanded."

Nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the Obama administration this year, leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of its commanders is under way.

Ha. They obviously haven’t seen the Facebook statuses of my Army Officer buddies because none of them have been ‘purged.’

That's nine just this year. Overall, it's approaching 200. See posts #2 amd #8.

If 9 officers is about one percent, then 197 officers is about 20%.

See the link above to see how serious this is.

The result? When Hitler attacked, they had a rally poor response to the attack.

Really poor response equaling millions of lives needlessly lost. Even German generals were disgusted with the misuse and waste of Russian lives during the war's opening phases.

This will be the bottom line of this dissembler's misuse of the military.

Its already happening in Afghanistan with casualties tripling under the bastrid's command. Of course no one seems to care about this because the Obama stooges in the media have lost their interest in that war.

Neither of those will save us. We are being attacked[quite successfully, by the way] from the inside. With the guise that they are able to own property and guns, the most dangerous [to them] segment of the herd is kept calm and comfortable and the remainder is sedated by “free money”, a/k/a, EBT cards that they can use to purchase drugs, sex, and last but not least, groceries. And the charade will continue until slaughter day when the herd is thinned. The property and gun owners will be allowed to survive because they are useful for their labor. The EBT portion will be gone, since they will no longer serve any [to them] useful function.

If 9 officers is about one percent, then 197 officers is about 20%.

Who are the other 188 admirals and generals? The article only lists 9.

Approaching 200 admirals and generals? Who are the other 190 or so?

Standard Communist tactics when they consolidate power. The “Useful Idiots” are no longer useful, as they have only their votes and complaints to offer, and voting is no longer necessary, while complaining is counterrevolutionary.

Oddly enough, for once I don’t see any real perfidy here.

The bottom line is that all the armed forces are very top heavy, with far too many admirals and generals.

For example, the Navy is close to having more admirals than it has ships. During the Reagan Cold War build-up, there were about 2 ships per admiral. During the Vietnam War, 3 ships per admiral. And in WWII, 130 ships per admiral.

Back to the present, not only are so many senior officers left twiddling their thumbs, but the reduction in force of enlisted men makes things much worse. It also grinds promotions for less senior officers to a halt, and morale suffers.

Since flag grade officers are the interface with the political world, the office politics and infighting gets bad. Military contractors get sweet deals with the idea that they will hire retired flag officers as consultants and to swing deals with their old peers still in uniform.

This is not to say that this is not a politically correct purge, which it probably is. But once conservatives are back in power, they will have to purge as many or more officers who sold their souls to stay in their jobs.

In the best of times, the careers of flag officers have the lifespan of fruit flies. They are all within range of mandatory retirement, no matter what.
