Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel, a former adviser to the Obama White House, admitted today that, if Democrats have their way, the individual insurance market is going away.
“Insurance companies don’t want, insurance companies don’t want the individual market as it’s constructed. They see the future. That individual market is going away. They don’t want to invest in it.”

It was easy to see from the start of Obamafuzzycare that the health insurance companies were committing suicide. They supported it based on the expectation they were going to get 30 million new customers. But they had to know that was a lie. So the promise had to be that they would get careers managing the gummints “single payer” “single scamming dumbass” system. When we see insurance companies kissing goodbye to customers 100 thosusand at a time it’s obvious they are on their way out of business on roller skates. Watch for the transition when they start getting hired to run pieces of Obama’s one-stop-shop. Just call ‘em BlueObama, AetnaObama, Kaiserobama, etc.

BTW, the only true, “communal” societies that ever worked were voluntary small groups based on Christianity..the monks and the convents...and that because their strong spiritual faith they worked on every day in their small communities witheach other to change the natural inclinations of man.

They've already been hired for it. The Medicare Advantage plans, which used to be reasonably priced supplemental plans paid for by the patient are now "free," because as it states in the brochure, the Federal Government now pays the insurance companies directly for managing them.
In exchange, however, patients get far less coverage because they have a large deductible, a huge "out of pocket" cost, and restricted access to doctors and hospitals. So this ultimately makes the whole thing cheaper for the insurance companies, plus giving them the guaranteed payments from the government.
So? What is your point?

its not the point and its NEVER been the point...
point is everything with bameycare was planned to fail...
most of the suckers signing up for bameycare are going for medicaid...millions....
that will come crashing down as soon as its discovered that drs aren't accepting them and these poor liddle people can't get good health care....
then overnight, the "fix".....
but the good news is if the federales take over all of health care meaning hospitals too then maybe I can get a nice, big fat govt pension like the rest...and 6 weeks vacation.....YAHOO!
everything is pretty much free though....
it is true that signing up these people who use the ER as a quick warm bed with the color tv and lots of drugs will have to start going to the designated clinics...
there is a subset of people that just refuse to get health insurance..."can't afford it"...although I've seen some of these "can't afford" it types with the lap tops and the fancy phones....
I am all in for changing and improving our health services....but we didn't need bameynocare to do it....
