You voted for more unemployment benefits without being able to pay for it! You and Obama are destroying this country! This vote only adds to the existing problems to those who have failed to get a job the past 99 weeks! No business will hire someone who’s been on the unemployed for 99 weeks! Their resume is the first to hit the trash can! This extended benefit will only cause disillusion to those who think they may have a chance for a job in the future! Your vote will only extend their benefits and add to their already failure to ever seek a job! It may buy you some votes!

What a huge disappointment that one (Lyin’ Ryan) has turned out to be.
It’s to help the unemployed. I have no problem with this. The economy sucks and people are having a tough time finding work.
After 26 weeks there is no difference between ‘unemployment’ and welfare.
So let them go on welfare, they are just the kind of temporarily unfortunate people welfare is meant to help.
Unfortunately, it also says something about the country for electing them.

If it were me and unfortunately, it isn't, and I were in the House, I'd let this thing languish for months, if not years! The House (GOP) should ask itself, "What would Harry do?"
They should cut it out of obongo’s vacation budget. I’m serious. Ground Air Force One except for actual federal government business that requires the presidunce to fly overseas, otherwise take a freakin’ Greyhound.
I have to say the republicans need to learn how to pick their battles. They screw the veterans, which pisses off conservatives. Then they vote against extending unemployment benefits, which pisses off the liberals.
When you consider the big picture, $6 billion bucks ain’t sh*t. In fact, they should all say “Ryan saved us a little more than that over 10 years, so, no big deal. We will vote to keep giving checks to the hard working men and women who are looking for work in this lousy Obama/democrat economy. But we will fight tooth and nail to make GM pay for it. They owe the taxpayers $10 billion.”
Well the Dems are desparate now that 2014 is looking bleak. If the GOP would just keep its head down and stand as firm as they can with only one house of Congress they would be in like flint next year. But this amnesty thing is just going to drive conservatives off the rails. My blood pressure goes up everytime I think about it. Boehner, Cantor, McCarthly and Ryan are in a suicide pact between amnesty and this crazy budget agreement.

I think the GOP could win the unemployment comp fight if they came up with coherent messages and themes and repeat them correctly, as Dems know how to do. Dems repeat a united message here
Whenever asked about it Rs should be highjacking and aggressively taking control of the debate about how this shows that Obama’s policies are failures and how a drastic change is needed because he is hurting these people long term, and hold firm on that theme and and keep pressing the point aggressively over and over.
In fact I made a similar point here.
I agree, this 'must pay for it' argument is a bit lame. They look weak repeating it as all they got.

It needs to be pointed out that he and his policies are the reason there are no jobs.
He plays it like he's got nothing to do with it, he's just trying to help out the 'folks'.
