The Unprecedented, Powerful Coalition Three Major Conservative Personalities Are Building Likely Has the Establishment Terrified

Two heads are better than one, as the old saying goes. That surely means that three heads are even better.

If there’s any truth to that saying, the establishment in Washington and progressives everywhere are likely none too pleased to hear that conservative personalities Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Sean Hannity are on the same page and joining forces to help the country get back on what they feel is the right path.

After previously allowing themselves to be caught up in a “stupid” competitive feud in talk radio, Beck revealed on his radio show Thursday that he has spoken with Levin and Hannity and they are all ready to start to “move together.”

“I am grateful to this audience. I am grateful for you. There was a stupid feud, and the three of us, Sean, and Mark and I, have talked about it,” Beck explained. “And we know where it came from, and we know who was feeding us lies about each other. And this individual just expected that if they fed us enough lies about each other, we would never talk to each other. And that way he would be able to divide us and keep the Tea Party movement at bay and control it as much as he could or destroy it. And we were foolish.”

Beck also read a letter he wrote to Levin on his radio show Thursday:

I don’t doubt you, Norm. Even with all the wacko posts, my own included, an astounding number of sides are presented and discussed on any issue, not just politics. Also, some pretty darn smart people on given subjects post some pretty insightful things. What a gift!

Beck & Hannity need Levin to prop up their *alliance.*

Levin needs neither of those yahoos.

We have to believe in something.

We have to believe in something.

We have to believe in something.

The other side all reads from the same hymnal, so it’s about time we present a united front if we ever hope save this nation.

Just to name one anti-conservative position...

Beck is OK with sodomite “marriage” - i.e. anal teabagging - that God himself states is an abomination.

What many people don’t think about is that all the big names are just regular people. They don’t have any special knowledge. Just a gift for presentation. To be sure, they are smart. But no man is an island.

When I firse began in the Motorspoers section of the biz, I was astounded to find that my ‘competitors’ were reading my stuff. Many of these people were people I had grown up reading and ‘disecting’. And it was humbling. Not that I was the greatest thing in the world, but that’s what you HAVE to do. You have to learn and UNDERSTAND what is going on in your area of ‘expertise’. And whether you are or you aren’t, the readers think you are. They have to or they go read/listen/watch someone they believe is.

I was fortunate to have one of the greats as a mentor. Rick Sieman of Dirt Bike magazine fame (if you are into that sort of thing, then you know of him). And he understood how the system worked inside out. It’s real simple. But few wants to believe they are a hugely contributing part of fame for the big names. If they did, it would take the magic away.

In no way do I support an Amendment Convention. Do you mean like when Obama’s folks ambushed the caucuses and make him President for life.
No way. I say restore the Constitution we have.

Yeah, it amazes me that people on FR will criticize someone they don't listen to.

There's a big difference between "non-listener" and "former listener".

I’ve been convinced for years that Rush uses FR as show prep, since there’s so much material aggregated here. It seems to be less so lately, IMHO, for reasons unknown.

...but the talk shows got to be more about the hosts and less about the issues and what we could do to either help or change the situation.

I’m left getting all my news from this website. Without FR, I probably be more of a sheeple than anything else.

I agree. I can't listen to any of them anymore. The same rah rah and 50 more reasons to hate obammy. I don't need any more reason to detest the little poser.

Plus there are more and more commercials. It used to be a show started on the hour or half-hour, now they start 5 minutes after to cram in more commercial time.

This smacks more of self-preservation than anything. Hannity lost his time slot to Savage, Beck is more on the net than anything, and Levin is a second tier talk show host playing to a shrinking audience.

Talk radio is a dying demographic. Most people go on the net for their news. It’s faster, more easily tailored to your tastes, and the commercials are largely avoidable.

“Yeah, its pretty obvious, isn’t it? FR does the prep work and they breeze in and graze, reaping the profit and awarding no credit.”

Pretty much, although I don’t think that’s as true as it was say 4-6 years ago. I mean you could see the cycle. Posted on FR then 1-2 days later it was being talked about by the talking heads.

FR has slowed down a lot since then. There was a time when I didn’t bother to read drudge because FR was faster at picking it up. If it was interesting and FR had missed it, a FReeper would post it within 10 minutes of it hitting drudge anyway.

I think FR has undergone something like a nervous breakdown since Obama’s reelection.

Hmmm. O'Reilly? He hates Hannity and Levin. And was always close with Beck on FNC. Now he never has Beck on. Got to be him.

“I guess you’re not a listener then.”

True. I’ve listened to all in the past. I still listen to Levin on rare occasions. But frankly I got tired of so-called “conservative” talk radio carrying water for the gop wing of the uniparty without questioning what those same people were doing to the country in general, and conservatism in particular. The talk radio schtick gets tiresome.

At this point the ‘net is just much faster and more efficient. If any of these guys say something unique or of interest, I’ll read about it. I can read what interests me and just skip the rest.
