Did anyone else hear the Jesus scholar tonight? O'Reilly said that when Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, he "ate nothing but bugs and honey." So that's why Christians give up something for Lent. (He said it during the final segment: The Factor Tip of the Day.)
One would think the author Killing Jesus would know the difference between John the Baptist and Jesus.

His books are pretty lame no matter who wrote them. All of them are really just a rehashing of the same story heard many times before. There is no new material or even a new insight into any of the books.

Are you sure? I took a look at one of his books one time and came away with the impression that this was written by a person almost totally lacking in insight, intellectual gravitas, and ability to write beyond the 10th grade level.

To be fair, I’ve heard Bill give his writing partner lots of acclaim and credit for most of the work, especially the research stuff. And more than once. Also he claims that most if not all the money from his books go to charity. Now that may or may not be true but I suspect it is true.

Agreed. Both BOR and Hannity are entertainers who found a formula for remunerative success. I believe, though, that Hannity would be a conservative even if he were a blue collar guy. Bill O’Reilly would be an annoying, hard to pin down RINO type.
